I have known Gio for some time now, and I have known him to never be serious. At least not compared to me. I think Gio's point with the above comment was that Lexin (if to become a moderator) should be on often.

Yes, users are free to come and go. But, on the other hand, when it comes to moderator applications, users have more of a margin to express their thoughts and feelings (all that can still be held accountable to the rules).

On a semi-personal note, if anyone can tolerate Gio, and deal with his remarks calmly, they are moderator material.
