It's a bit laborious. You have to go through all the posts and when you get to the bottom of the page select 'Go:Earlier'. If a user has posted a fanfic there should be a link in the post.
Authors to look out for include ladyfiction and shingamitenshi. The latter is especially famous for her graphic scenes... they are oh-so-good! Plus she's a Birmingham girl like me!

The lj community. It is confusing. If you find a description you like select the link under that post box that says 'These People Do!" which should bring up the actual post. It will have a white background.
But not all posts will be fanfics so you just have to have a look around by clicking the Go:Earlier link at the very bottom of the page. This is quite time consuming but is defintely worth it. I learnt that from experience. I have spent many hours looking through the DAFamily community. And by many I mean about 50.
I'm suck a geek...
