*Makoto felt the shard working in her again. She struggled to transform and she ran through the door Xavier had blown apart, beginning to stumble. When she finally got to where Xavier and Shino were, she was in human form on her hands and knees. The wounds on her hands had begun bleeding again and she struggled against tears. Then, she stood on shaking legs and leapt up into trees, reaching a point where she was level with Shino. With the last strength her legs had, she jumped out of the tree and wrapped her arms around Shino's neck in an awkward hug, blocking the attack with her light powers.* "Please stop, Shino-san," she whispered, her voice cracking with pain. She had begun to tremble violently.

Ahh...Angel?!"He stops seeing her and Makoto and snaps his finger again to make the shard stop working and he floats by Makoto."Why are you stopping our fight?"

Xavier, all of his power expensed and his injuries acting up once more, dopped face-first on the ground, blood leaking from his mouth. He found it hard to think straight, but was able to mutter one word.

*looks around and seeing all the blood andd turned to shino* "please tell me u did not do this?"

"Fighting hurts people." Makoto whispered. She dropped down and hurried over to Xavier, her legs hardly supporting her. She dropped to her knees and forced her light powers to their maximum power capacity. Her hands glowed and she placed them over Xavier's injuries. Her breathing became irregular again. The healing was taking up most of her energy, but she felt it was worth it to see Xavier smile again.

"No one said you did, Shino-san." Makoto said quietly. "Xavier-san's powers drain a lot of energy." she explained. She began to mend what the nurse couldn't, and she also began transferring her energy to Xavier.

"Don't... talk to Makoto like that." Xavier said, tearing away from Emily and walking back over to Makoto, wrapping his arms around her, although she didn't know it was mostly to keep his balance and not fall.
"Shino... just promise me you won't hurt her again. You can kill me if I ever annoy you, just don't hurt her."

Angel: *sunddenly got very pissed at shino* "I HATE U SHINO!!!!" *she ran and ran*

Her hands still stung, but they had finally stopped bleeding. Her breathing came in short gasps.
