Absolute Anime

"Your not missing lunch or school Bella" Edward said as he held the door to the cafeteria open for her.

(YAY!! You're a mod!! ^__^ Does that mean I have to be a good girl ?.? )

Bella walked through the doorway. "It's up to me wether I miss school or not" She said defiantly.

Alice sped home and ran inside. "Jasper? Jasper, are you here?!" She ran back outside after recieving no reply. She looked around the property, then she checked the edge of the forest.

(i guess.... and am i jasper?)

"I'd like it if you stay though" Edward said shutting the door behind him, his thumb rubbing her hand lightly.

(No, unless you wanna be)

Bella frowned, but nodded her head. I'll stay here while you go look for your brother"

"Thank you Bella" Edward kissed her forhead but didn't leave her side.

"You aren't going?" Bella asked, confused.

"Yes, after I spend lunch with you. It's only fair"

Bella frowned and shook her head. "He could be in trouble. I'll go sit with Jessica" She walked toward the table Jessica was sitting at. "Just tell me when you find him" She said over her shoulder.

Edward watched her leave and felt a pang of saddness but left the cafeteria and then left the school to join alice.

Jessica looked up "Hey bella! Where's edward!? Isn't he eating with us today?"

Bella sat next to Jessica and shook her head. "Something came up, so he had to leave"

Alice looked around for a while longer, but stopped and saw in her mind's eye Edward looking around, so she went back tot he front of the house and sat on the fronmt step to wait for him.

Edward pulled up and stopped the car in front of the house and got out "any lucky?"

Jessica gave a sad face "I'm sorry" Lauren looked up from her salad "What came up?"

Bella frowned at her meal, trying to think up something. Finally, after no realistic lies, she settled on the truth. "His brother is missing"

Alice shook her head. "I didn't look too thoroughly, but I couldn't even catch his scent"

Jessica gasped dramaticly "Oh my god!! Really!? Do they have any leads!?"
Luaren actually looked a bit shocked

Bella shook her head. "No leads. Edward refused to let me help, though"

"He wants you to be save?" Jessica guessed
Luaren nodded.

"But if I stay by his side, I will be safe. I might be able to see something he would miss" Bella said. In her mind, she knew it was true that she wouldn't be of any help, but she was searching for an excuse to stay with Edward.

"Come on, he might have gone hunting by himself" Alice said, running toward the forest.
