The best fusion is Gogeta. In one of the episodes, the old kai said that the sayains needed to be able to power down or they would die, or something like that. He also said that when fused with the earings, they couldnt power down so thats one reason i say Gogeta is better.

even though once the supreme kai fuses he remains like that.

That's only true if they fused in a powered up state, which they didn't.

No. It's if they power up at all. And if they dont power up they wont be stronger than Gogeta.

I thought the Old Kai only said because Goku asked him if they should become super saiyan before they fused but then the Old Kai said that they shouldn't because if they fused like that they wouldn't be able to power down. Plus Vegito seemed to be powered up for quite sometime before he got defused inside of Buu.

He defused because of something about being inside of buu. Old kai did say not to power up before fusing, but he also said that they could power up during fusion and not to unless it was necessary or they would die and other stuff...

Is Gogeta the one that is really goku and vagita fused together?If so i like him.
