Absolute Anime

Tales of Legendia for PS2. Many people dislike it because it has chibi graphics and a Linear Motion Battle System. However, there is more to a game than the way it looks and what type of battle system it has. Legendia has an excellent storyline, not to mention a great cast of main characters (well, apart from Shirley. She sucks). In a game, plot and characters are two very important aspects. Since Legendia is strong in both plot and characters, it deserves a lot more credit than what most people give it.

Silent Hill 4: The Room for PS2 is quite underrated as well. While its two main characters (Henry and Eileen) are boring and its battle system is rather weak, it still has a rather good storyline and a great villain in Walter Sullivan.
