Kenshin frowned. It was the same each time...vengeance for loved ones, killing him will not solve the matter but Kenshin would not blame him. But...

"I am sorry for your brothers and sisters," he stated with sincerety, it would fall on deaf ears or the man would disregard it, but Kenshin had to say it. "If it is my life you seek than you can have it, but spare Ms. Kaoru, she has done nothing but be kind to you."

Kaoru shook her head. "No please, stop don't you get it!? Kenshin isn't the Battousai, he isn't the manslayer anymore please..." tears filled her eyes as she stood in front of Kenshin while holding her arms out. "Please...I'm begging you..."

Damashii sighed,"I can't stand people crying..Battousai,I mean Kenshin..I can't kill you here..come to the lake without her in ten minutes..knock her out do what you please but come..if you don't I will come and kill any and all that inhabit this Dojo."He said,walking passed them both.

Kenshin turned to follow him, however Kaoru held his shirt. "Please...please don't go."

He didn't say anything merely took a moment before stepping out of her reach. "Ms. Kaoru you must stay here, there is no reason for you to come."

"Kenshin please I don't want you to go," she screamed to him, but didn't move. "Why...why do you always have to suffer?"

"You have it wrong Ms. Kaoru...I've done many horrible things that cannot be erased and for those who have felt suffering at my hands deserve nothing short of my life." He stated while turning around. "Ms. Kaoru...goodbye."

Kaoru collapsed onto her knees as Kenshin walked from the dojo and headed towards the river.

Damashii,waiting by the river having his sword unsheathed while he watched the water flow."Its a great night for revenge isn't it Manslayer?"He said loudly

Kenshin did not reply, he simply stood opposite sides of the man known as Damashii. His eyes were unsettled as he turned to look at the water.

"I will not." Kenshin stated while looking to the man. "It is my life you wish to take, that it is. I have no right to fight back." Saying that he stood towards him and smiled sadly.

If you do not fight back I guess i'll be forced to harm Miss Kaoru.."He chuckled."So how about now?

Kenshin's brow furrowed slightly, not in anger but confusion. "I see. So you wish to become like me than?"

Once your dead..Who knows I might stop..or I might continue on to killing..depends on my mood."He said,trying to make himself sound like a mad mouth but it was obvious he was lacking in insanity

Kenshin frowned before looking at the river again, it was a beautiful thing the way the stars reflected off its surface...it was too beautiful for one such as him to be blessed to see.

Damaishii chuckled,looking at the river as well."We better hurry..I'm sure your friend is on her way here..better end this battle soon right?"

Kenshin sighed, yes Ms. Kaoru was probably on her way here right now. There was no chance he would listen for reason passed this point. He did not wish to fight...

Turning he narrowed his eyes, his right hand resting on the grip of the blade.

Kenshin did not say anything, he wondered if it would matter. Seeing the Hiten Mitsurugi style and clashing swords against it was another thing. Kenshin took a step backwards with his left foot as his right hand settled patiently on his hilt.
