I've never had a pregnancy scare but I imagine I'll be deciding on abortion or keeping the little thing. If I can't take care of it then I would abort it. If I can then YAY ME I don't have to abort it. And if you know me then me aborting it would probably make me depressed and possibly suicidal.
What about putting it up for adoption if you can't support it?

Jade... I could never go nine months feeding, feeling and connecting with the baby then give it away... I want a baby BADLY but I want it when everything is good. So if things are good I'd keep it. But if they're bad... then the smart option would be to abort it but honestly I might keep it anyway... It's my baby FFS!

I don't think abortion is the smart option. The guilt usually haunts the mother for the rest of her life. Plus, there are all sorts of places that supply struggling new parents with food and clothing for their children.

Jade, anything I do other than it being a good time would make me feel guilty/bad. My baby is my baby, I'd want the best for it when it comes out. Struggling to feed and clothe it isn't the best. But I don't see myself having a pregnancy scare anytime soon so I'm good for now.

Sometimes abortion is the best way, depending on the woman of course. Like myself; a pregnancy would utterly destroy my body, and that would kill any self worth I have, even more than regretting ending a pregnancy.
No matter which choice someone makes in this situation, they're screwed.

Seras: Agreed.
GG: How would it destroy your body?

I know how you feel. I still live with my parents but I'm only 21 so it isn't that bad but there isn't any jobs around here. If I had become pregnant I would probably have to get an abortion. I mean it would hurt me soo much to do it but, one my dad would kill me and two I could never give it up for adoption because I would steal it back once I got a job and everything I needed to support it XD. And I don't have a job to support it so I wouldn't be able to keep it.

Jade: I feel like you express yourself so vey well. Much better then I do. It's because we have basically the same beliefs so I agree wholeheartedly with what you say. You're wording is just so much better then mine.

I could never ever get an abortion. It would kill me. And plus I have no right to take a human life, that is not my jurisdiction. I'd feel like I'm playing God and that's not right. And plus the emotional pain and scarring of it would make me feel so awful. I just couldn't do it. No matter what I'd either give it up for adoption or keep it...probably the first because even though I want a baby and a family so bad...I don't want it like that though. I know I'm not ready for one both financially and emotionally at this time. I'd want my child to have a good life even if it is not me providing it for them. So killing it is out of the question for me. I'd tear my heart out first.

It would kill me to have an abortion too but that would pretty much be my only option and you have the right to take its life because It's in your body. But I know what you mean about feeling like your playing god so I understand. But abortion would be my only option because if my dad found out i was pregnant while I was still living here he'd probably kick me out. Especially since I don't have a job and I wouldn't want to disappoint either of my parents by being pregnant. I could never give it up for adoption because it would hurt me too much and when I had what I needed to support it then I would want it back and I can't do that. I want a family bad too but I am not ready for one so I couldn't keep it either.

Well I mean you're right it is "my body" but to me at the same time its not, but then again we have different perspectives on life. So just like you understood where i was coming from, i get where your coming from.
Overall, I'd freak out if I got pregnant especially since I'm in school still and I don't make that much money and where the heck would i even live.
Ugh. I think I'll stop thinking about it now.

Well at least you have a job and you are going to school and are actually going somewhere in life. I'm stuck because I have no job and I'm not going to school. But I will be going to school once I figure out what I want to do.

That one, you worded better than me. I completely agree.
Abortion, to me, is just one of those "quick fixes" that society offers us, but it really doesn't do any good in the long run [no pun intended..hahaha]. In my opinion, women should just have the kid, raise it to the best of their abilities regardless of financial situations, and hope that it will become a productive member of society. Abortion is something that is an attempt to take away the adult consequences from adult decisions. Don't get pregnant in the first place if you don't want a kid.
Kitty: As long as you're moving and you're not moving backwards, you're going somewhere.

If you ever do get pregnant, don't automatically decide whether its a keep or abort situation. Your circumstances nine months down the track could be so much better than what you're basing your decision on. Giving it up for adoption is the best decision if you know that you can't care for the baby, because who knows what that little person could grow up to be, right?
And some guys are just F@king idiots, I know a friend who was pressured into having sex and found out she's pregnant, and she told me that the first thing the guy said to her was "we can still have sex because it doesn't matter now since you're pregnant"

. So ladies, make sure you know the guy you're seeing and that they have the same values as you do and that they respect yours, don't give in to what they want if you don't want it.
