InuYasha and Kikyo or InuYasha and Kagome?

I wouldn't say it's that lame example. Inuyasha says himself, "If my fate is to go to hell with Kikyo to avenge her, so be it." Its equivelant trade. Plus, Inuyasha is a demon so he will be going to hell anyways. She's with Naraku just a PART of her plan. Kikyo also saves Kagome by telling her to trust in her priestess powers-- and at the end of episode 98 kagome says "if you died someone would be sad" and Kikyo response was "You too". Thats not selfish at all. Kikyo has far more manners than Kagome. Kagome doesnt deserve Kikyo's attention at all-- do you recall when Kagome said "I wish Kikyo would dissappear from our lives forever"? Do you recall when Kagome got home from the fuedal era in one episode, fell on her bed giggling and said "I wonder if everyones okay? Oh well! Im happy!!!" -- Thats pretty damned selfish. Plus, Kikyo helped Kagome when Tsubaki came around, and has spared Kagome alot.

Well, InuYasha was blinded by his love for Kikyo.She doesn't even love him back. And if Kikyo isn't selfish than how come she wanted to give InuYasha the shikon jewel just so she could be a normal woman?And besides even if Inuyasha is going to hell, he still has a life to live. Oh and Kagome doesn't say stupid stuff like pure is impure, impure is pure. What the hell does that mean? Does Kikyo even have a purpose in life? Cuz it looks like she just wanders around moping hoping InuYasha is nearby so he feel sorry for her.

The souls agree to help her however. Kikyo even addresses them by their own names. 50 years felt like but a passing minute I bet being Inuyasha was asleep the whole time, and Kikyo was dead. If I were brought back to life and I thought my lover killed me, I think I would want some revenge too. Kagome has no right to say that because shes too happy go lucky to understand other peoples pain. (Or she assumes things about other peoples problems that are definatly false). I believe Kagome actually has a few good qualities and that some of you Kikyo haters have goods points. So dont go jumping to conclusions. Kikyo has no trust for anyone right now, and I can understand why. Shes told Inuyasha before that the only reason shes staying alive right now is to destroy Naraku--- Kikyo is just that type of person where when her mind is set on doing something, no matter what she has to go through, she'll do it. She DOES probably contemplate all the suggestions made to her in her mind and sort out what she thinks is true and truthfully believes. Kikyo doesn't say stupid stuff, it's her motto, she has it on her own meanings which is quite unique.

Yes, that is correct, if she wanted to avenge herself or whatever wouldn't she of gave the jewel shards to InuYasha, the person that wants to avenge her? Not the person that wants to kill her fake lover.She just wants to mess with them both then kill them.She obviously has got a glitch there.

How is Kagome bad when Kikyo said "I hate all living things" Knowing that the person that loved her is living. I'm sensing that she doesn't care about INUYASHA WHO IS LIVING ---NOT DEAD.

Kikyo has no time for being nice right now, she thinks she was betrayed, of course she's hating because of what happenned, you gotta understand her situation. At the Naraku thing, she wants to get revenge to Inuyasha by using Naraku. Kikyo is about revenge right now. At least Kikyo has her reasons, she's not cruel at all. Kagome just don't understand her and how could she say actually think that to Kikyo, that was bad.

Once again Kikyo's screwed up logic gets in the way. Naraku is the one who injured her and she knows that, so she shouldn't be angry at InuYasha. She should carry out her revenge on Naraku and then commit suicide in my opinon. Oh and since Kikyo has vengeance for InuYasha then Kagome would automatically think a woman who wants to kill the man she loves would be bad!

I was disappointed with that action myself, and I’m not quite sure why she did it. But there is always a reason for the things Kikyo does- and she’s not to be trifled with. Inuyasha tries hard to even it out with Kagome and Kikyo since he knows he has to protect both of them. I can remember the times Inuyasha dropped Kagome like a hot (or whiney annoying) potato to go see Kikyo. I know Kagome is the only one that can break Naraku's barriers, but when he comes around, she doesnt go shooting him right away, no, she stares there all dumbfounded leaving things up to Inuyasha until he is injured. Kagome has NOT surpased Kikyos power at all, I find it funyn that you think so. Kagome wouldnt stand a chance. Kikyo has had alot of practice, and has earned her skills. Kagome just inherited them, Kagome doesnt practice her spiritual powers, Kagome doesnt practice her archery, Kikyo was saving up her power to use against Naraku but made the wrong choice. She thought if the shikon jewel and Naraku were in the same place at once, she could kill them both. And by the way, Kikyo isnt dead after that. She comes back. Kagome shot Naraku when he did not possess the shikon jewel. Therefore, theres really n oreason to say Kagome is stronger when Kikyo could of done the same, if not, better. I know, Kikyos past power has faded slightly, but its still there. Kikyo fell in love, which caused her powers to falter in the first place.... but did she care? No. She told Inuyasha she wanted to STOP fighting. Is that so evil? And even resurrected, shes not all hate filled. She still has feelings of saddness, lonliness, love, and a heart for villagers and young children. I would definatley be hate filled if I was stuck in the worst moment of my life. Kikyo cant move on from where she died, and its hurting her in the long run. Its not her fault she was resureccted against her own will.
