Rap is okish... Until it get's old nad the charm wears off... just like puppies^^ Always cute till the charm wears off... or till they make a mess... lol Rock shall always kick ass^^ Unlike rap, rock is like a fine wine, only sweetens with age^^ Long live rock and let it's golden years kick ass!^^

i used to really hate rock...and really love rap, but rap isnt that great anymore... and rock ive started to like it, converge them too, but im sure a lot of people wouldnt want that..

I used to love rap too, but not anymore. The only rapper I like is Eminem because he really got his lyrics going on.
Rock is better than Rap. Sure, Rap has meanings, but hey, so is Rock. In fact, Rock makes me feel like I'm really into the song and I can visualize what's really happening and they have eloquent words unlike Rap. Rap is all about slang words. Slang words are junk, they don't have much meaning. What impressive about Rap is the rhythm like a poem, but poem needs more eloquent words, so Rap is really not like a poem. What's great about Rock, is it wakes you up to understand and clarrify what is the message of the song. Genius. And guess what? Rock has cussing too, they have great cussing in the right time it's hilarious. While Rap, they just cuss when they ever want to. But rap's image is like "cool". And Rock's image is "!!!!" umm... head-banging. Rap can sometimes make you dance too. Guess what? So can Rock! It can make you dance even harder! 
Rap can also be perverted. LOL. Rock can be too! It makes you visualize violent sex, lmfao. Cool or what? xD So, basically I was saying, Rock is way better than Rap. Even Rap can be more popular, but popular isn't always better.

I looove rock. I listen to everything, but I love rock the mostest. Bands like Fall Out Boy, Green Day, Evanescence, Linkin Park, and Nirvana really make my day.

thats not rock......Nirvana is grunge anyways or just alternative music. Along with the other bands you mentioned theyre all alternative.

Alternative is a subset of rock. Metal, Alternative, Punk, Emo, Grunge, and all the rest are all part of the big category of "rock".

Its kind of hard to say wich ones the best. I think Rock wins (even if I like Metal more) but Rap is also really good music. But HipHop is better tou..
