Kaoru let out a relieved sigh. "Um, are you still going to kill...Kenshin?" she asked quietly while glancing back to the manslayer who was quietly on the ground with his eyes closed breathly steadily.

He was quiet for a moment then shook his head,"No..not anymore."He chuckled,walking over to Kenshin and holding his hand out"Come on..we are going back to the Dojo right?"

Kenshin's eyes opened, they were big and round as he let out a laugh. Taking his hand and standing up. "That we should, Ms. Kaoru it is not safe out here at night please stay close."

Kaoru nodded while going to Kenshin's side and slinging her arm through his helping him up. It seemed he was still a little numb from the poison and needed assistance, she blushed, she didn't mind...Kaoru did wonder about Damashii though, he seemed so sad...what could she do for him?

Damashii watched them and smiled,wishing he had someone who cared so strongely for him for the entire time they walked he looked down at the ground with a sad smile,staying quiet.

Kaoru glanced at him every now and again, getting a little worried. "Damashii are you alright?"

Kenshin looked at him as well, gaining a questioning look.

Damashii looked up quickly,putting a smile on his face"Yea!I'm alright.

Kaoru didn't say anything, but she could tell he was a little liar, she would ask him later when Kenshin wasn't around. Heaven knows Kenshin would make anyone feel awkward.

The dojo came into view, Kaoru smiled happily. "Oh...Kenshin where's the tofu I asked you to get?"

Kenshin froze. "Uh, well Ms. Kaoru you see I was...a little occupied that I was." He stated while scratching his neck.

Kaoru's eye twitched as she wacked Kenshin on the back of the head. "You idiot there goes money that we barely have, Kenshin how could you!" She fumed while folding her arms. "You best go get something cleaned before I competely rip you apart!"

Kenshin gave out a whimper before dashing towards the dojo. Kaoru smiled. "Okay Damashii," she started while wrapping her arm around his and leading him slowly towards the dojo to sit and talk. "What's really the matter?"

Its nothing really."He smiled,watching Kenshin dash around cleaning anything and everything he could."It must be nice to have someone you care for so strongely huh?..Kaoru?"

Kaoru's face flushed. "What are you talking about? Kenshin and I are just friends, I would gladly stand in the way for any of my friends!" she blushed slightly before her face turned away slightly with a sad look. "You know I forgot to say that you can stay here as long as you'd like, I'll welcome the company!"

He smiled,"Don't try to change the subject now though I thank you kindly for the offer."He chuckled,patting her on the head"You like him alot don't you?.."

"No." Kaoru stated firmly while looking at him. "I don't." Smiling she pulled her head away. "I'm not a little kid you know, patting me on the head and such!" she giggled while sitting down on the wood. "I wasn't changing the subject I was simply informing you that you could stay as long as you'd like. As for my feelings for Kenshin, we're just friends." She winked and patted the wood.

I see.."He chuckled,looking up at the sky."But anyways as I was saying..they say every human has a purpose in life..if they don't why live?..I'm trying to find mine..I don't really know what my purpose is actually."He chuckled

"I see it must be frustrating not to know!" she smiled and looked up. "For me, its to carry on my fathers name and revitalize the Kamiya dojo, it's taking so long...but I know I can do it as long as I have my friends!"

I guess i'll help you..that seems to be a reasonable purpose for me to live right?"He asked,chuckling."I'll make sure you rebuild this dojo Miss Kaoru i'll help as much as I can.

"Really!?" she smiled while flinging her arms around him. "Thank you so much Shii, I'm so glad! I knew you weren't a bad person!" it made her happy.

One more boarder in the Kamiya dojo, one more friend and a new chore helper, this was great! "Kenshin, guess what?"

Kenshin peeked around the corner while blinking. "What is it Ms. Kaoru?"

"Damashii has decided to help with the dojo, isn't that wonderful!?" she cried while hugging Damashii again.

Kenshin had only a slight fraction of hesitation, before happily smiling. "That is wonderful Ms. Kaoru, that it is!"
