Forgotten Lance: The Castle that Time Forgot

Ryin look at Shade in a confused look. It was confusing for him cuz, she was a bit rude to him and then she becomeing nice to him. He was a bit confused at the time.

Shade watched Ethryl and Ryin leave. She frowned slightly and looked at the Halfling "You can count me in." She walked out following Ethryl and Ryin. She smirked as she walked up to Ethryl touching the side of his face gently "Oh I didn't upset you did I?"

Mist watched Shade and sighed shaking her head "Shade. . ." She looked at everyone still in the tavern.

Ethryl ignored Ryin and turned to Shade. "No, you didn't." He grasped her shoulder firmly, clenching his fingers into her shoulder and looked into her eyes, "But you shouldn't grab someone like that, you could harm yourself later on."

He let go of Shade and turned to Ryin, "That Halfling, Ryin, he doesn't need our help. If he got to that castle and stole himself a chunk of stone, he can make it there again and do what ever he needs to do. As fun as it may be to watch him fumble upon himself as we sit there and try to help, we in the process, are doing no one good. We shouldn't start off as a group...a group that no one knows anything about one another and gets highly annoyed with one another, but instead as time turns we should end up together. As Fate proclaims it rightfully so." He turned and headed on his journey to the castle. "If any of you want to follow that's fine, you may do, but if not, I'll find you all in the future. Those of you, anyways, you decided to embark on this journey." Ethryl stopped and pondered to himself aloud, "I should go back and get Nia, Drake, and Rain." He turned around and headed back to the tavern, past Ryin briskly and Shade as well.

Before re-entering the tavern he looked at Mist and nodded gently to her, he also looked at Oswald and shook his head, at last he spotted Drake and waved him over. "Drake! Get Rain and Nia. We'll go on ahead. Eventually we might end up with the others...maybe."

The Halfling looks over at Drake, "That's my job.... Just like it is making sure you get to the gates. The trip could be uneventful, but I am still needed to get you in. Another will meet you inside... Then when you fail I'll come back to get a new group."

Dropping down he makes his way to the doors of the tavern, "You will be the 25th group I've taken this month... When we leave you will be forgotten by the people here. If by some chance you survive the castle? It will be only known to yourselves."

Leaving the tavern business goes back to normal the people carrying on not even knowing what took place moments before.

[Gregory House, MD]

Oswald shook his head a little.

- Strange chap - he said. He limped outside.
- Well, might as well stick with the chap that has my book - he added

He limped to him. He then suddenly stopped thinking about his decision. ''Hmmm... I might die. I might be forgotten. My work, my life. But, who is there to remember me. I have one one. I live alone. If I do not make it back, who will I make sad'', he thought.

- Old chap, I suppose you are heading to the castle also. Would you be so kind to allow me to go with you? - he asked Ryin.

He looked at the others.

- I suppose that they are also coming, even that stupid brute - said Oswald for himself.

He turned to Ryin again.

- So, if everything turns out satisfactory, shall we follow the Halfling, the other group or alone? - he added another question to Ryin

[Aiden]

Ethryl whipped around and pointed at Oswald angrily, "You can't recruit him, dumbass. He's mine. If you want to deal with me, if you want to join him, you'll have to join me. I can understand if you don't want to, but either it's my group, that Halfling, or all by yourself. Either way we'll all meet up in the future."

[Nyko]

Shade looked at Ethryl, "Sorry. . ." a word she never says. She watched him for a moment and entered the tavern after him. She walked over to Mist, "Ready?"

Mist nodded and headed out of the tavern, "I think we should join Ethryl."

Shade took one look at Mist, "And why should we?" She looked away.

Mist smiled sweetly, "Cause you like him." She giggled lightly and touched Shade's shoulder.

Shade pulled away quickly and rubbed her shoulder, "Ahh. . . fine. . . you can go ask, I'll be on my way. See ya whenever. . ."

Mist watched Shade walk away and walked back into the tavern tapping Ethryl lightly on the shoulder, "Would it be ok if me and my sister joined you?"

Ryin was a bit confused and wonder if this two guys were fighting over me. "He was already decide to join Ehtryl already cuz, he like him like a big bro. As well oswald did like him...cuz, he hit it off with him

Ethryl turned his head and look over the shoulder Mist tapped. "It's fine, you can do that, you and you sassy sister." He laughed and walked out the door.

[Gregory House, MD]

- Chap, just to make this clear, I am going with Ryin, if he is OK with it. If that means that I will also have to accompany you, I have no problem with that. If you stay out of my way with that piece of metal, I shall stay out of your way and we will have no problems - said Oswald

He took his umbrella and his backpack and he was ready. He also took his black beaver hat and put it on his head.

- Oh, chap, I suppose the others also do not like you calling them ''mine'' and calling the grup ''mine''. This is a group, not yours not mine not anyones, no one here is yours or mine or anyones. We have our free will and anyone of can leave at any time. Oh, an even if the others do not agree, I do, so please do not label me as yours or as a member of your group. I am myself and a member of this group, not yours. Just to make things clear. I do not like when someone, especially someone like you, tries to dictate my. Just to make things clear. Now, shall we? - finished Oswald with a cheerful tone

"Oh don't worry Oswald. You're not mine. You're far from the reaches of that title. People who I call "mine" are people that matter more and could actually do some physical damage. You, your a short fat old man whom I have not even one care in the world for. We are completely different people, obviously, and right now I could care less if my dragon came from that forest and ripped you to shreds. And to be blunt, I'd wish she would." Ethryl said completely ignoring the fact that he just insulted his weaponry. "Besides, technically it is MY group and the people who join MY group are keen enough not to follow that short twat of a halfling. He's nothing but bad news. So if you want to be in MY group, you'll have to put up with me calling you MINE. I dictate you no more than the rest of the world, and I said nothing of making you a slave of my group nor did I say I would try and remove you of your free will, so don't go saying I would." Ethryl turned back to the tavern and whistled for Nia. "The only reason I treat her like a slave is because she doesn't have the focus to stay in the game. I am her guide and she is my kill force when I put her mind to it." Ethryl turned back to Oswald as he waited for Nia. "You'll be here first here in this town if you're not careful. As it be the case she may not succeed I will call for my dragon and have her rip you to shreds. Any obligations now, shorty?"

Nia heard Ethryl whistle as she ran to his side. "Where are we going now Ethy?"
"We're going to a castle. And I told you before, don't call me that." Ethryl patted Nia on the head.

Ryin was a bit excited to hear the word dragon. He had not seen one for quiet awhile. He went close to Ethryl and showing that his in his group. He Notice that Ethryl had a lot a bulit up angier and not going to ask why cuz, it would just make things worse.

Ethryl noticed Ryin's movement towards him. He looked at Ryin and smiled, "I'm real sorry. I'm normally not this angered, he just really pisses me off."

Ryin look at Ethryl and smile back, "Not a problem Ethryl."

Oswald listened to him carefully and then burst into laugh.

- You know, chap, I have been working as a scientist before you were even born. Why do you think I carry so much umbrellas? Neither you, nor your... well, I do not know how to call her properly, nor your dragon can do me much harm. I may be, well I am, short, fat and have a limp, but that will not stop me from defending myself. I have just told you, chap, that you do not label me as ''yours'', that is all. If you do not start trouble, neither will I. I have only come here to explore the Castle, not to put up with a egocetric bulk like you. Just because you are tall and strong does not mean that you can dictate people around. This message was in no means bad and I had no bad intentions. It was just a warning not to cause unnecessary problems like you did in the Tavern, because if you do, I cannot guarentee for your, your...welll you know who or your dragon's safety. So, we shall contine our journey as equals from now on, till we disbandon the group. If the others allow you to dictate them and to call them ''yours'', I have no objection, but it would be much obliged of you if you treat me as an equal, just to avoid any unnecessary quarells - said Oswald

He then cleaned his hat a little.

- Now, shall we? - he asked

Ethryl ignored his words and spoke amongst his group, "So any body got any ideas on how far this place is or even where we begin to head? And I'm not asking you for your import, Oswald."

(This is the only time I'm going to do this...But I'm not going to try and herd everyone so it's the power of the brick time...)

Everyone appears some distance outside the city with a clear veiw of the castle. Now the castle seems different then usual with the heads mounted on pikes that can even be seen there. The Halfling stands on a rock with a suprised Orc besides him.

Looking at them all for a moment he starts, "You are all going to have to stop this now! At the moment you are going to end up the shortest lasting group I've lead. The previous group didn't make it into the castle either.... They tried to go ahead of me and well it's their heads you see now."

He frowns, "When you get into the place you can go your seperate ways for all I care. But know this....The castle adapts to the people inside and where they are at. At one point there was a group of assassins that died because not one of them could open the simple Wizard lock on the door. Right now though? You all one group until the gates...."

As he ends the halfling glaces at the orc before drawing a wand and tapping it's shoulder. A moment passes then the orc explodes in a shower of red, "Now if anyone has anything else? Take it up with your god...."
