Asian Dramas
The title pretty much explains it. ^_^ Discussions pertaining to such is welcome... (Be it Korean, Chinese, etc.)
My favorite Korean Drama is 'Full House'. I've only seen two, the aforementioned, and 'Sweet 18', but both are pretty good. Much better than their American counterparts, I must admit. ^_^;

From what I've noticed, besides Korea, the other primary places where dramas [or even comedy series] originate of that nature are Taiwan and Hong Kong. To a less extent, Japan.
But that's just what I've noted.

I saw this film in cantonese called The House of Flying Daggers...is it dubbed in English?
I thought it was really cool, and very colorful. Has anyone else saw it?
My fav. scene in that movie was when the lady was pretending to be blind and was doing a dance in which she'd hit the drum that some guy hit with a pebble...or something like that

I've only seen one Asian drama, GTO. It's pretty good, though I prefer the anime.

Re: re: Asian Dramas
You know those soap operas on television? Well, there are different versions of those that you can find all over Asia. Korean dramas; Chinese(In Mandarin), Japanese, Tagalog, Taiwanese, etc. This is just my opinion but, usually these dramas are..err... much better than the American ones. *wince* There's lots of drama(obviously) and yes, you can expect many cheesy moments, but... I don't know what it is, but I like them better. ^_^; Not a really good explanation, huh?iHeart_Inu_n_Kurama wrote: Wow um.. to bad I don't know what you people are talking aboutCare to fill me in? There are websites out there that would let you download a few episodes of them... and it's at no cost. (But viewer discretion is advised. T_T...Don't tell anybody where you got your downloads.)

I've seen a Japanese drama called Shopping Hero, it only had 11 episodes but it was very good and it had a sweet ending. I've also seen a few episodes of Mars, but I couldn't keep up with it because the subtitles went to fast XD
