I am a vocalist, and I also learnt piano in primary school.
I sing in two bands, and we play covers of bands such as: Megadeth (like: she-wolf, tornado of souls, vortex, and trust), Pearl Jam (Black, Alive, Jeremy) Red Hot Chilli Peppers (Breaking the Girl, Cant Stop, Under the Bridge), Nirvana (Smells Like Teen Spirit, Lithium, Come as you Are), Audioslave (Like a Stone), Iron Maiden (Fear of the Dark), Silverchair (Anthym for the Year 2000) and quite a lot of other bands and other songs I left out.
The songs are in the brackets incase you didn't figure that out.
One of the bands I sing for has written 4 complete songs, with all the music and lyrics, and the other has 9! I wrote the lyrics for a few songs but I cant really write music.

thats cool heres a tip though if u wanna get better at writing musing you could start out with a poem then add a beat and turn it into a song! thats what i do!

Sorry mate, I meant that I can't write actually music, like guitar riffs or piano. I can manage lyrics.

In 2 bands right now. Own material. I play guitar and paino but I play drums in both bands...

I was in a black metal band as the singer but when my drummer got addicted to drugs the 5. time i gave up

im in a band and i play gitar, drums, lead guitar and vocals we play bands like: system of a down, avenged sevenfold, atryu, linken park, nirvana, and we also right our own songs. are name is AUNT JIMIMA!(like the syrup)

I'm in a band called "Jimmyjohnjames and the Rest", I am the soul member. I play guitar and sing. The only song I can do at the moment is Happy Birthday.
Flawless, everytime I swear!!
lol I've made music for one song. Haven't made lyrics yet. I can play a lot of songs on guitar. lol.

And I'm your biggest fan. lol
When I was in the band we sang songs from bands my dad produced. The same company that worked with Gwen Steffani back in '92. Dr. Dream Records. Anyways we sang some songs from The Cadilac Tramps, The Tiki Tones, Swamp Zombies, and the best ever.......... HUMAN THERAPY!!!
