Krillin vs Tien (Part 4)
Happy Holidays Ya’ll! lol I hadn’t been at this site or online for that matter do to last
minute preparations for Christmas. But I’m back and with the next 3 parts of Krillin vs
Tien. Actually it’s the same Saga but broken down thanks to an anonymous tip (actually it
was Kenshin lol) I tried to make it as short as possible by doing it this way. Lastly, for
those who took my last editorial the wrong way, stating things like: “Yamcha didn’t
defeat 2 of the strongest members of the Ginyu Force” I said Yamcha defeated the 2nd
Strongest of the Ginyus, not 2 of the Strongest Ginyus, but sorry for the mix up. As for
this other statement that says: “Yamcha and Tien are not that closely matched, Tien is
quite abit stronger.”, remember Yamcha and Tien were about even during the Saiyan
Saga as Chiaotzu pointed out, then while training in OtherWorld, during the times Tien
would meditate, Yamcha was still doing Physical Training, which allowed Yamcha to
catch up abit and somewhere along the way even surpassed him. However, after Yamcha
was wished back to life going on the end of the Frieza Saga, Yamcha took time out from
training to spend time with Bulma, while Tien kept training, so he managed to gain nearly
a whole year’s worth of experience over Yamcha. More about this subject will be in the
Editorial, so like always, I hope you like it!
The Android Saga was yet another adventure that put Tien as most people’s best pick for
being superior to Krillin by far. During the start of this Saga, Krillin was already in the
middle of training on Roshi’s Island (as shown in the earlier scenes of the 1st episode.)
prior to the warning from Trunks, then when the 3 years preparation took place, Tien
trained with Chiaotzu (Well actually Tien trained while Chiaotzu appeared to be his
target practice lol), Krillin was training by shooting multiple Kamehameha Waves, while
Yamcha was seen trying out a little bit of everything as he was 1st training at a Workout
Center (But would oftenly be peeking at the girls in the Aerobics Class next to him, plus
he broke the excercise machine anyway lol), doing Physical Training outside of Capsule
Corp., and more importantly, survived nearly being fatally crushed by Vegeta’s Gravity
Machine that was at 300x times the Natural Gravity of Earth’s! For a Human to
accomplish that, it’s pretty impressive, then if you include the 3 years of training
afterwards and the confrontation with the Androids where Yamcha actually survived a
fatal blow from one of the Deadly Machines, by these experiences, Yamcha’s Strength
took an enormous increase that could’ve easily filled the “Gap” that was between him and
Tien. Last I read on a website somewhere it said that Krillin was weaker than Tien
because Goku asked Krillin to take Yamcha away to get healed, then this person went on
to say that if Krillin was really stronger than Tien, then Goku would’ve wanted Krillin to
stay and battle, instead of telling him to leave. In otherwords, since Krillin’s Presence in
battles was starting to diminish, the person that made this statement is saying that Krillin
is the weakest, a very good deduction, as well just as good an example to back this up, but
overall they couldn’t be more wrong even if they were to try, I’ll show you, but 1st let me
start off by giving you an example of my own! Think back if you will to the Frieza Saga
when Vegeta told Goku about the Ginyu Force and saying that if Goku had arrived a few
minutes later, Gohan and Krillin would’ve been killed a long time ago. Vegeta then
continued to say that the Ginyu Force didn’t have to be stronger than Goku to beat him,
that they could’ve takened Gohan as their hostage and have Goku walk straight into their
trap, so with this in mind, when Jeice returned with Captain Ginyu, Goku told Gohan and
Krillin to leave the battlefield and find the DragonBalls. It was right there that Goku took
heed of Vegeta’s warning, not wanting to put his son at risk, Goku told Gohan to leave
with Krillin, now Goku didn’t have to listen to Vegeta if he didn’t want to, he could’ve
let Gohan stay and fight right along side of him. However, that wouldn’t make any sense
now would it, because Goku was just told by Vegeta of what the consequences were if
Gohan was still present in the battle against the Ginyus, meaning that Goku would’ve
been endangering the life of his own son if he were to let him stay, starting to see where
I’m going with this? If Krillin was really weaker than Tien, then why would Goku tell
Krillin of all people to take Yamcha to safety, now here’s a big “What If?” Question.
What if during the time that Goku’s Heart Virus was taking it’s effect on him, as well
being pummeled by Android #19 was also during the time that Krillin was looking after
Yamcha until he was healed? After defeating Goku they would’ve eventually went after
the other Z-Fighters including Krillin and Yamcha, this proved that Krillin was still
stronger than Tien, Goku didn’t send Krillin away from battle because he felt that Krillin
was weak, it was the exact opposite. Just in case such a situation were to take place that
Goku was unsuccessful in defeating the Androids, when they did reach the area where
Krillin and Yamcha was, Krillin would be the one who had the strength needed to fight
against the Androids and protect his fallen friend. Not to mention that if this situation was
to happen and Krillin was ever in any danger, Gohan was there with him and in the past,
Gohan and Krillin proved themselves to be a serious force to be reckoned with when they
battled as a Team! Just think of it like this, Goku if not for the Heart Virus was going to
defeat Android #19 (Dr. Gero even pointed out that Android #19 was going to drain his
power supply and malfunction if he didn’t steal any energy from Goku soon), as for Dr.
Gero, we saw that Piccolo was able to handle him easily later on in the battle, so where
does that leave Tien, on the sidelines cheering on his companions. Now take Gohan and
put him in Goku’s Position, as for Krillin he’ll be playing the part of Piccolo, if the
Androids came after them, they’ll eventually have to fight them, as for Yamcha (who’s
currently immobilized), he’ll be on the sidelines while his companions battled, so take a
guess at who’s part Yamcha is playing! I spoke to someone on this same subject and they
told me that Krillin’s absence in battle against Androids #19 and #20 was irrelevant,
however, at the same time he had this to say, quote: “Since Tien was mostly contributing
to more battles that went on during the Andriod Saga, that makes Tien stronger than
Krillin!” He obviously failed to realize that by this statement, he condradicted himself,
plus if he says that Krillin being absent in battle against #19 and #20 and Tien being
present was irrelevant, then how is it that after saying this statment, he would also ask
me: “Well what did Krillin do since the Frieza Saga ended?”, in otherwords he was
asking what battles were Krillin involved in, well since it’s so “Irrelevant” either way if
he was present or absent during these fights, my question to this person is: Why Ask?!
Krillin may not be participating in many battles like he used to, but his presence was
always called upon for other important reasons and it was always by the Strongest
Fighters that were there during the fight, like Trunks. Since Gohan stayed with Goku until
he recovered, Trunks was accompanied by Krillin to help find a way to deactivate
Androids #17 and #18, Tien however, stayed behind with Yamcha and guarded the Kame
House. If Tien was stronger than Krillin, Trunks would’ve objected to Krillin being by his
side, because like Goku, Trunks also cares strongly for Krillin and never wants to see him
get hurt. (Example: Goku objecting to Krillin helping him in the fight against Raditz
because he knew Krillin wasn’t strong enough and if he dies, he couldn’t be wished
back.) My point, basically, is that Tien and Krillin are the strongest of the “Human
Litter”, but to find out who was really stronger than who, can not be determined by who
made their presence known the most in battle, but who’s presence was favored the most
and out of people like Goku and Trunks, Krillin was the one who was usually called on.
