Krillin vs Tien (Part 6)
As for certain movies from DBZ like Movie 9, when Tien fought Trunks, quoting from a
Rival Editor: “Furthermore, in movie 9, Tien fought Trunks in an amazing battle in which
Trunks was forced to go SS to win”, if you remember what I said earlier about Goku and
Nappa when they fought Tien, you’ll realize it was the exact same case with Trunks!
While Trunks fought Tien, even I have to say it was a pretty cool fight, but once again,
my Rival over steps his boundaries by boasting in exaggeration when he used the term:
“Amazing.” Think about it, Trunks has the strength to take down one of Bojack’s
Minions where as Tien didn’t and he’s actually saying he forced Trunks to go Super
Saiyan!? Honestly, the day Tien would actually force Trunks to go Super Saiyan, would
be like admitting that Gohan was able to defeat Perfect Cell without go Super Saiyan 2.
Like Goku, Trunks was also holding back, prolonging the fight to have a decent battle
with Tien, until the time came when he felt ready to finish him off. On Movie 9, Krillin
already admitted he didn’t stand a chance against the Saiyans, but battling against
Piccolo, Krillin actually felt a little bit more confident about, (except when he thought
about Piccolo using his Special Beam Cannon lol) especially after stating that even
though he’ll lose, he was going to go out with style! Piccolo however, forfeited his Bout
with Krillin, because of this statement: “I thought this was a Tournament, Not a Freak
Show! This is a complete waste of my time!” Quote my Rival: “Krillin fought Piccolo
and made a fool of himself.” True, though it wasn’t his intentions to do so, that was the
ending result for Krillin in that Bout, but that’s not a good enough reason to make Piccolo
want to forfeit, leaving the Tournament because of 1 person that wasn’t able to give you
the battle that you wanted!? Piccolo left the Tournament, because of the “Show-Offy”
mainstream, created by Hercule and his Tournament that was littered with less than
“Wannabe” Figthers, but he returned later on to help out with the fight against Bojack,
since that was the serious battle that he’s been wanting and with no strings attached. What
I mean by no strings attached, in otherwords, whoever won the Tournament eventually
had to fight Hercule, so to keep their great strength and powers from being discovered, as
well keeping the sanctity of their privacy from being taken away, any of the Z-Fighters
that won had to let Hercule win. Needless to say, this was a lost that Piccolo was not
going to degrade himself into allowing, losing to Hercule on purpose in his defense, is
just as bad as losing to Hercule FOR REAL! Let’s not forget that at the beginning of the
Tournament when we see Krillin fighting, his sudden change in attitude towards the
appearances of Gohan, Piccolo, and Trunks, points out that he knows his chances of
winning the Tournament, was no longer possible, Tien and Yamcha were in the
Tournament too, but by that reaction towards Piccolo and the Saiyans alone, Krillin
obviously wasn’t too concerned about them! Still if you really want to compare Tien and
Krillin’s strength against Saiyans, just think about the DBZ Movie 8, when Krillin
accidently punched Goku in the face. Unlike Trunks who smiled after being directly hit in
the face by Tien, Goku had absolutely nothing to smile about as he was actually thriving
in pain. Mistake or not, for a human being able to hurt Goku, is pretty impressive. Just
like Trunks who let his guard down for that one moment and Tien bested him when they
exchanged blows, Goku’s guard was also dropped when Krillin punched him, so this little
incident does count.
