The Chronicles of Narnia

Last night I went with a few friends to go see it...Wow. It was absolutely awesome. I'm a dedicated Lord of the Rings freak, and I thought it surpassed even that. Everything about it was wonderful. Especially the acting. I've always thought that American directors have a tendency to cast "cuteness" rather than "talent" in child roles, and I think many might agree. But these children were great! I especially loved William Moseley, who played Peter. Not only was he to-die-for hot, but he did a fantastic job.

I'm definately going to be seeing it again, and I advise everyone to give it a try. I doubt anyone could possibly not like it. Opinions, anyone?

I loved it. Walden and Disney did a wonderful job putting this film together.

I loved Mr. Tumnis

But uh, yes. Wonderful movie, I almost cried when the white witch killed Aslan *emo tear*

I also loved the background music on this movie (the voices...stuff 8-[ )

Mr. Tumnus is in a english drama called Shameless, no weird nose or hairy legs there Hik!

I absolutely loved the film, as soon as the trailers came on I bought the book to read in preparation! I agree that William Moseley did a good job of playing Peter, and is also hot. 8)

The White Witch looks completely different from her description in the book, I think the BBC drama from the eighties had a better concept of her.

I also adored Georgie Henley and think she portrayed a brilliant Lucy and really brought her to life, she had such innocence! She was absolutely perfect!

All in all I adored this movie and I agree with the Critics, it will beat Harry Potter and reach number one!

I'm sorry but...I hated it.

Okay, first off, if any of you have read the book, then you'll understand why I'm upset. If this film weren't based on a fantastic novel, I'd declare the movie good. However, not so...

Okay, as far as I remember in the book, Christmas doesnt happen beacuse some freaky witch stops Santa Claus from delivering gifts. No way. In the movie, you've got Santa running around like god teaching a girl how to use a bow and arrow to kill things. C'mon ppl!!! THAT IS CRAZY!!! An Ice Witch stops Christmas is the plot of the movie, not the book. And this film is based on the book. Yes, yes, based doesnt mean exactly like, but this film does a poor job of being a visual performance of the verbose novel.

Lucy was adorable too! I loved her little sweaters and pull up socks. All the kids were great. They all looked classically English in feature, and manner.

I think the battle scene is right up there with Lord of the Rings. I found it reminiscent of The Patriot and Braveheart, as well. You know, it was just like "FREEEEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOOM", except of course, it was replaced with William Moseley (riding his unicon) shouting "NARNIA!" *Drool.* That is one frame I could stare at all day.

I thought the movie was really close to what happened in the book. William Moseley is really hot, he plays Peter. Not so much in the movie but I have this magazine with him in it and wow. I would definitely recommend this movie.
