Okay, I know some of y'all think there are some bands that are pretty overrated.
Don't be shy. Just say it. As for me, I think Green Day and AC/DC are overrated.

hmm I think AC/DC needed more time in the sun. Unlike damn Guns and Roses. But for me its Nirvana, Green day, Korn, Metallica, and err...yea..

Green Day, IMO< opinion isnt overrated. To the topic creator and those who recently have mixed feelings for Green Day, understand that Green Day is not now another punk-rock band that sings about angst. Remember the days of their greater albums such as Dookie and Nimrod. Green Day is an excellent band, but their recent foray into the world of anti-bush punk has begun to inflict its flaws. Green Day shall not be an "an american idiot" band in the future. They wll resune their old paths. So, in the meantime, I find it incorrect to assume Green Day is overrated, poser, or "just another angst punk band." Green Day has overdone their mascara in American Idiot. Green Day is a great band. American Idiot is poor album.
