Absolute Anime

I used to question my taste in my music, since it was always changing. I used to go through phases of listening to a band, killing it, and then moving on. But now, after examining my music library, I've gotta say...I love Indie Rock. And I'm expressing my feelings here. Here are some of my favorite bands.

I've seen The White Stripes live. They're a pretty awesome band.

i also forgot Stereophonics they rock too

Green Day? Far as I now, they are a punk/trash band. But I guess i'm wrong.

they are actually pop punk, but their album, Warning, has a folksy/indie feel to it. so, for that album, the info is correct

Yeah, maybe that album. But the group isn't indie or alternative. The same with FF.

actually, Ferdinand are alternitive rock especially their self titled album

Hmmmm... to add some alternative to this list... I make my contribution of "Living Things" You might reconise the tune from the song, "Bom Bom Bom" from an iPod commercal... lol Also... I'd like to add "Our Lady Peace". They are classified as, "Genral Alternative" pretty cool band, or atleast I think so^^ I like them tons o'tons^^ Hmmm... punk.... Let's see here...

Franz Ferdinand and Foo Fighters are both alternative/indie. And as for Green Day, their way older stuff, like Kerplunk, 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours, and Nimrod is all very indie like. It's when American Idiot came out...thats what changed their image.

i cant speak for Kerplunk and 1039 Smooth, But Dookie was punkish, as was Nimrod. Insomniac definatly was. it's really just Warning thats the most Indie. and some of Idiot was indie too. like Whatshername, and Novacaine.

and i think Foo Fighters would be classed as Alt Metal
