The only one I've seen errrr read is the original Japanese movie. I didn't bother to watch the remake...

We have ruined every remake we have done... (Anyone remember Godzilla?) I prefer the Japanese versions because while they don't use all the special effect like we do, they make up for it with messing with your mind.

I watched Ju-Rei The Uncanny last night and they did the movie backwards to keep the watcher guessing...

True, the Japanese versions are better. I'm not really a fan of The Grudge movies, and I think the second movie is stupid. I've actually laughed more than I was scared. They are so overreacting it's really lame. Same goes to The Ring movies.

About the all remakes... I agree that some are poorly made, but other were not. The King Kong was made any more better than it is.

I dont know how u can be scare of the English one its not as scary as the Japanese one that one freak me out when i saw a ll 6 episode to it

Not that scary...was a very poor movie. They could have done much better.
