Absolute Anime

So, Hi everyone. I'm quite new here and wanted to ask something which I've been noticing quite far.
I know I should have asked this question at the questions forum or something like that, but since I'm the most active here, I'm asking it here.
Below every user's avatar, I've seen words like 'Full Metal Otaku, Baka Otaku, Rooki Otaku and in my case Ramen Slurping Otaku ..and a lot more..So what actually does it mean ? I don't slurp on Ramen -silly-
can anyone tell me whats that ?

i think that is your status or let's say position in the forum..it depends upon how many post you've made...well, that's as far as i know.

you could also see this in other forums....

I think this thread should be somewhere else. But...yeah, like what shadowblader said, it's ones position in the forum. It changes when your post count increases.

yeah the above posts say right...like youve made about 130 posts here so you are at the level that is given to the people whove made 130 or around posts..like im new here so i'm at a lower level than you ^-^ and i'm at a specific level and that level has its name..that it 'something' otaku....

The word 'otaku' is the Japanese equivalent of geek, but in Japan being an otaku is not usually a bad thing... ABSOLUTE OTAKU AND PROUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!
