Absolute Anime

My favorite Anime titles are as follows:

* Ghost In A Shell
* Akira
* Spirited Away
* Blood
* Princess Mononoke

Based on this list could the wise people of this website sugest any other titles that I might enjoy.

I would like to see an anime that is based in space. Or that is generally futuristic. But any titles that you think relevant would be a help to.

Magpie, I posted this under "Frustrated" in this forum but I'll do it again here for you:

Go to http://www.animetakeout.com/ You don't have to be a member to look around the site. In the upper left hand corner of the page, there is a "Browse The Menu" box. Inside that, there is a small white box that says "genre." Click on the little black arrow and it will provide you with a list of different kinds of Anime. Click on one and the site will show you all the things they have that fall into that category. Click on a specific title to see what it says about it.

Make a list of the ones that strike your fancy. Then go to http://www.animenfo.com/index.php and put the name of a particular Anime in the search box. When it comes up, click on reviews and find out what other Anime fans thought of it.

Anime News Network and Anime on DVD are also websites with excellent reviews. This site has great Anime and character information but no reviews except for the few that get posted in the "Specific Anime" forum.

There is a lot of great stuff to see. Have fun.

I could let one or two slide, but any more than that really does just start to p*ss me off, especially when those are the ONLY posts the person is making, and so the user has now been banned.

Robotech!!! lol That's quite a older series
Uhmm...a anime that has a space travelling theme.
Well currently they're airing Starship Operators. I've only seen the first episode, but it seems okay. It won't be out for quite some time.

Maby if the "Frustrated" thread were given a more apropriate title it could be a sticky and people could use your knowlege more? Its very handy information.

i would like to see more showes like yu yu hakusho were they all have there own power and stuff.

Hey Magpie, I haven't watched it but I heard that Appleseed(I think that is what it is called..)is the type of anime you're looking for. All I know is that it is based on the future and has cyborgs and stuff. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
