Absolute Anime

Well, is it good? Or a rip-off? Personally, I won't buy it. Maybe the extra hard drive but that's it. I'm fine with my premium. Although I think it's a rip-off here, it's not in Canada. The Premium there is $500 and the Elite is $550. Go Canada if you want an Elite.

A total ripoff if you already have a Premium Xbox 360. And the trade in value is only $250, so you have to pay almost $300 for a larger hard-drive and HDMI cables. But if you don't have one already, go for it. It's kind of stupid that Microsoft didn't include an internal wi-fi adapter. It sucks to have to pay $100 for that thing. And it only would have cost them like $10 for each unit. I'll get this if my current 360 dies after the warranty is up, but for now it's better to wait for the 360s that will include the smaller processor.

You do not need the hard drive unless your playing online for downloadable content, there are other uses but nothing that matters to much. The xbox 360 is a better bet than the ps3 however. I say the drive is worth it for all the good extra content you have on xbox live, Xbox live is much better than the free ps2 online service, you can do much more.

Actually you have to have the hard drive to play Xbox games on the 360. Not a big deal to those of us that have both, but to others it'll be the only way to play games like KOTOR or Jade Empire.

As for the Elite I don't think it's worth it...

It is not worth the piece unless you play online and love to download stuff

Of course, anything you get for free is not that great. But it still works. Xbox live is a great experience overall.

Thats what I meant by "other reasons" but not very important if you still have your original xbox, want to know why? Most xbox titles are still not compatible with the 360, Microsoft is still working this out.

It is only retarded when it is not your opinion? I love to pay for something I will enjoy. Its my opinion because I have played ps2 online but not ps3, its still free however.. When I played xbox 360 online is was freaken fantastic.. My opinion? dont fret, your still an individual! petty argument.

My thougts on the elite?

Nothing. Just sucks for all the 360 owners that have to buy a new one. The elites prolly wont sell well.

Im not sure about this but I learned that the elite is missing some features that the premium xbox 360 has, I think one might be an HD-DVD player.
