Hey! I have a lot of work to do as well. I just finish my work and play till 3 in the morning. I'm not entirely sure what part your on so you'll have to tell me, but all I can say is DG-Z = 1337!

to answer your first question, yes. DG-X is a duel gun, but you don't get it till after you beat the game. the only one you can get before the boss is the DG-O which you get from killing Doppleganger.
As for the Azure fight, I had Zelkova and Yata in my party. Zelkova has some really good healing items so make him your healer and yata's buffs help alot. other than that all I did was skill trigger/rengeki/Demon awakening

Ah what!! No Endrance!!?? I'll get all kinds of shizzy healing items, then.
Okay, but what level? I'm around level 132 right now and they still trump me. Should I be like... level friggin' 140?
And what's the best weapon to use against them? Scythe right?

Yeah...endrence had to sit this one out...though I guess you can replace Yata for Endrence if Endrence is higher level, and if you really wanted to use him. (Yata was like 2 levels higher than Endrence at the time so I used him.) I was level 148 when I did the fight. (I have a tendency to...over level in dot hack...) Zelkova is really useful in this fight though. I'm pretty sure I used the DG-O in that fight. if you can't get that for whatever reason then use the scythe.

You get to the forest after you beat the game I think (Not enitrely sure since I didn't decide to go there till after I beat it.) But the forest gives you DG-Y and DG-Z. You get DG-O from Doppleganger which is pretty easy to get to, just go to a field with the ending word "Moonlight". And you don't really need to go out and get items. Zelkova has 150 healing items. 50 for healing your health to full, 50 for healing your mp to full, and 50 to resurrect you to full life.

But I can already buy those kinds of items. Plus, I'm filthy rich. (At least I think so... but not compaired to Zelkova for sure...
