Hitman? You mean the games where you play as Agent 47? Sounds interesting. I sure hope they don't screw it up, but they probably will, as most movies based on games suck, just as most games beased on movies suck.

Looks cool, but do you reckon his barcode thing sets of all the shops alarms? cause... that would be hilarious lol.
Yeah i'd go see it tho.
And my cure to movies sucking compared to games is simple. Go outside. socialise. play. Instead of playing the games in the 1st place! lol anyway movies are better than games any day.

i've known about the Hitman movie for a long time now. back when Vin Disel was approached to play Mr 47. here's my analysis.
The guy who is playing Mr 47 is all wrong. wrong build, wrong looks, wrong height. The voice actor of Mr 47 (who the designers based the model on from Hitman's Silent Assassin through Blood Money) didnt get the part when he auditioned, so something is wrong there. it looks to me like its going to an action flick, maybe one us old action dogs can appreciate, but, my main concern is how well they are gonna keep 47 to his character. 47 has very limited emotion (he has shown compassion on no less than 4 occasions, and has only shown anger the once. the rest of the time, he is level headed.) also, i would like to see if they are going to show Diana Burnwood in the movie, as she is an enigma in the games. you only see her either from behind, or just an appendige.
i will probably go see it when it hits UK cinema's, but thats just as a die-hard Hitman fan. i am really worried they are gunna butcher my one of my fave games.

could i play a better agent 47? i am roughly the same heigh, a slightly smaller build (actually, considerably smaller, i'm a twiglet) but, if i was the director, i woulda hired the voice actor, so then it ATLEAST sounds like Mr 47. but, if i had to pick my ideal actor... if he was younger, i would kinda think Michael Cane would be cool. he's suave, DEFINATLY cool, and is used to killing people. yup, micheal cane

You know, if you just go into the cinema and leave the thoughts of the GAME behind, you might actually enjoy the flick. If you are just going to compare a movie and a game for 3 hours, dont bother paying the 10 bucks to get in, cause you sure as hell wont enjoy it.
So there is my advice, take it or leave it, just bear in mind that Xbox and hollywood are two totally different things. You can expact totally different results.

actually, its more like 5 british pounds sterling. second, i play it on the PS2 (my laptop for the first game, but its really not upto much)
and third, as a fan of the games, its duty, obligation, and right to make sure it stays true. the D1e Hard games stayed kinda true. they were poor games, but its rare EA make good games. and game to movie transitions are most often poor. look at the Resident Evil films. diabolical, completly destroy the story, and even blow holes in the time line. Hollywood just sucks that way.

you, i like. sterling observation ^_^ any fan worth his/her weight knows that Mr 47 and any other surviving clones are in their 40's. (i believe 47 was created on September 5, 1964, according to his barcode)
