I know there are fans of table top gaming on AA, so, i thought this appropriate as some have made a transition to computer game format. This is aimed at those who like their Dungeons & Dragons stylee games, such as the Baldurs Gate series, Elder Scrolls, Fable, etc.

lets start ^_^ i'll kick it off with the Baldurs Gate series, and by asking:

are the PC Baldurs Gate games any good?

Not Sure Sorry :S. I've Played the PS ones though, I liked them but then my cousin kept wanting to play it and I grew really really Tired of it even up to this day -_-.
lol I guess I wasnt really made for playing these types of games for too long so I think I'll stick to my Kingdom Hearts' and Final Fantasy's xD

so long as you wern't continually roped into playing it co-op style, lol. y'know, if you liked the style of play, but want something of more action, may i reccommend "Champions Of Norrath"?

K I'll Try It Out ^^
But I'm Not Promising Anything, But I do like a very, Very Huge Variety Of games from things like; Final Fantasy to Resident Evil, Street Fighter To Manhunt, Kingdom Hearts to Time Splitters, Slinter Cell to Crash Bandicoot.

I don't know, games like Baldurs Gate just dont sit well with me... ^^;

I could never get into Baldur's Gate for some reason. Dunno why. I loved Planescape: Torment, though (probably my favorite RPG ever), which ran on essentially the same engine. Baldur's Gate and I just didn't click for some reason =/

The PC Baldur's Gate games are better than the console ones.

Omega, i have heard this too. i am also told that they are strategy games, which dont sit with me all too great. but i am not one to avoid the genre all together...

Wafflegod, how may I get my hands on Planescape?

Amray, i am in the same boat, but i cant stand platformers. i think the main reason Baldurs Gate didnt stick is because, i can tell your a pro, its really repetitive. same old hack and slash against similar monsters all the time.

Baldur's Gate is not a strategy game, it's a RPG.
