Absolute Anime

My question is based more on opinion than anything else. Anyway, my friends have been recommending Appleseed to me and I'm going to watch it when they loan it to me, but I'm wondering if the new Appleseed is going to be any good. I saw some trailers for Appleseed Ex Machina and they look AMAZING. I checked out the trailers on their site and man... I can't wait to see this in high def. I even had fun making my own trailer for a contest they're holding. I did it more for the ability to see clips of the movie, but it was still entertaining. I also did some reading and the story sounds great, but I'm sure I have to watch the first one to better understand this one.

Anyway, onto the question: can any of you tell me anything about Appleseed? I'm sure it's going to be a while before they loan it to me, since they're both very unreliable when it comes to this, but I would love to know more. Some viewer opinions are always nice to read in my opinion. I think that it's better to ask his way than read reviews.

When I first saw Appleseed,I totally fell in love with it.

the movie was pretty good

but i would have luved if it turned into a 3-6 episode OVA

You can't go wrong with Appleseed.... IMO it has a solid story, you can find the cg movie anywhere... Although you might have to search more for the animated movie...

i would nt recommend apple seed but give armitage a try is way better

ive got my copy on order, il tell you what i think when ive watched it.

watched it last night, and had mixed emotions. the action scenes are pretty cool although the slow is over done a bit. my main problem with it was lack of story. it didnt really feel like the original anime.

i did enjoy it but it wasnt amazing, i didnt get that special feeling ive experianced before after watching something like the cowboy bebop film or a Miyazaki film.
