Absolute Anime

Whenever I was in the chat eariler today, I had the "ban" button whenever I clicked on someones name. Though, I never banned anyone, just thought I'd tell webmaster about this bug issue.

Well, it is an issue that could be in the chat software, or there is a certain way he does things on how to make mods have powers on the chatrooms. I have never been to a forum that had this chat software installed into it.

This is a new version of the chat software, and the file that is supposed to integrate it with phpBB3 had not even been properly updated since the phpBB2 days. I actually had to update the file myself to make it work. It uses a user's default group to determine if they are a moderator or administrator; but sounds like there is still a bug in there somewhere. I'll look into it.

Thanks for fixing our problem. I know alot of users were getting the same thing until you updated the file.

I know I attempted a fix, but I thought I would have to wait a few days to confirm that it really doesn't happen anymore. Has anyone had the ban option available to them since about noon on Jan 20th?

Since it went live, though some of the config settings and code have been modified since. It's developmental version 4.8.3.
