Xbox 360 or PS3?: War 2007/early 2008

Which console would you choose? Things I thought about were.. the online play for Ps3 looks better. Ps3 has less games than 360. PS3 will end up being the less user friendly system. (these are just my opinions) 360 has more games, has sold the most, easy to use controller. this is all I can think of, feel free to have me but more info about what you think about these 2 consoles.

Second best thing on earth besides a PS3 or 360. Lol, I see, that is true though. But also, I doubt the Wii will be as famous as PS3 is.

The Wii is much more innovative than the PS3 will every be, but that dosent stop it from being fun.

The whole PS3 vs Wii vs 360 thing reminds me of the whole Mac vs PC thing. But I never got to play the Wii by myself yet, so I'll give it a try sometime soon. the only game I have seen played on PS3 was Fight Night 3. And eh, some racing games. Well, the graphics aren't bad for PS3. But the 360 has some nice. graphics as well.

I concur. With a PC you get better graphics, you can play online without signing up for some Microsoft/Sony thing, you can download mods, etc, etc.

Now, I know that you can downlaod stuff for the PS3 and Xbox360, but you have to pay for each download. That sucks. A good example of this is Gears of War. It came out for the 360, and then started having extra content to download. This included maps, weapons, etc. So in the end, the game cost twice as much as it was when you bought it, if you got all the downloads. When the PC version of Gears of War came out, it already had all of the extra maps and weapons, and even had an extra chapter, all in one package.

It seems that developers think that the Xbox Live Market and the Sony Store are excuses to make only half a game, and then force players to buy the rest of the game small amounts at a time. In fact, many of these things that you pay to download used to be in the game, but the developers decided to take them out and sell them by themselves.

On the PC front, there is no such practices. Expansion packs don't count, as they're made after the game.

some games I prefer on my PC like KOTOR 1 and 2 but I love racing games on my 360 by far much better layout and easier to control.

i bought a PS3 because i wanted a blu-ray player
the blue-ray is excellent and i like most of the ps3's games

i love my xbox 360 because the graphics are nice and i like xbox online system

i want a wii but i havent seen a game i like come out yet
(until super smash bros brawl comes out)

but my favorite has to be my PS3

The Wii = fun for younger and older gamers.
PS3 = for older gamers.
Xbox 360 = Good if you like Halo, Fable, etc. This is just my opinion.

Wii has actually sold more than 360/PS3.


PS3 is catching up though. Started outselling 360 back in november. The price cut helped alot.


And now PS3 is getting thier franchise names out theres. UT:3, metal gear solid guns of the patriots, Final Fantaxy XIII is coming out this or next year.


Its really just a preference. 360 has a bunch of FPS' games. PS3 has everything, thats always been their appeal. And Wii has fun, easy games for gamerswho are tired of playing longer games, and just want to relax and have fun. And duh, kids love it.

Anyway I'd say the Wii is the best followed by 360. In a distant third is the PS3 (I bought one when the price went down, simply because I wanted Assassin's Creed and Resistance: Fall of Man and I had money to blow. The damn thing broke on me in 2 weeks)
