Shakira vs. Aerosmith

I was looking through YouTube for Dude (looks like a lady) videos when I found one of Shakira doing the song. I like the song when done by its original artist, Aerosmith. That's a good song. I DO NOT like it when Shakira tries, and fails, to do the song. Other opinions on this?

Why do people like wrecking the good songs. First it was Brittney Spears with I love Rock 'n Roll. Now it's Shakira with Dude looks like a lady, who's next?

I dunno what's worse. Pop stars ruining 80's rock music.... Or metal making scary versions of already bad pop songs.
