But will it survive to air this fall?
KITT is now the Knight Industries Three Thousand and a Mustang GT500KR. Interesting indeed; not to mention that Val Kilmer is slated to voice KITT*. The show is supposed to be using a heavy slathering of CGI, akin to Transformers; which means that Super Persuit Mode is back in a way.
KITT Hero
KITT Attack Aka KITT Ricer
Yeah, those are the two forms; the light bar is in the hood scoop.
Also, here are some trailers
Trailer (~2:00 Min) Yep, KITT's a Mustang, and voiced by Will Arnett (Prior to his replacement).
Promo featuring KITT with a stand in voiceover.
Anotehr promo, aired yesterday.
*This was why Arnett was replaced..

Oh man, that car is a beast. I would give almost anything to drive it.

Yeah, the car is mostly a stock GT500KR with a pwnage body kit. What's funny is that if you think about it; most of the stuff on the original car isn't too hard to make with real science. Car Tech has come along way since 1982.

After watching the premier, I have to say I think it'll make it one season, but will need a bit better writing if it's gonna survive for a second season. It is, however, WAY better than that Bionic Woman remake.
