Surely I wasn't the only one who went to the Midnight vewing, right? 8)

Anyway, what did everyone else think?

I loved Heath Ledger as Joker  He was frikken awesome!

But, I thought the movie was waaaay too long! There were so many good possibilities for an ending!

the two I thought would have been good were either right after the Joker corrupts the DA into Two-face, or right as he [the Joker] is doing his little prance thing out of the exploding hospital.

And, if I had to rate, I'd give it a 9.5 out of ten. It's a great movie. :fly:

by You Mean The Dark Knight?
The Dark Knight AKA Batman was brilliant, I always said Christian Bale was the best batman I have ever seen. His acting ability is extremly strong, as Heath Leder's was. Its a shame he passed away, they actually set up the movie for a 3rd film revolving around him.... As for the film length I thought it was a hearty film. Being a big film buff I must say it had a lot more content than batman begins, They showed how batman was actually more of an anti hero instead of Hero, It was a superb story. This film deserves a solid 9.

So far my favorite films of the year would be IRONMAN which is a solid 10, Hulk which I thought was a decent 8 and The Dark Knight. Hellboy 2 The Golden Army had some brilliant moments but the first one was much better. As mentioned being a comic fan/reader I am hard on most movies that revolve around my favorite villains and hero's... They did a superb job with Batman and Joker. One of the best remakes ever. A super hero movie I could do without would be Spiderman, Spiderman 3 left me in WTF....

The movie would be a lot less popular/talked about if Ledger was alive.

That's...probably true. XD But it's still a great movie. It was just...too long. And the ending was kinda eh. And Batman's voice...it made me lul. XD

That was a spoiler, considering it was one of the best and entertaining parts of the movie it should be held with in a spoiler marker. Please? =-] Thanks.

The movie was a Freaking super-hero masterpiece. :D

I enjoyed the whole movie and my favorite character was the Joker the whole damn time. 8)

Favorite scene was The Joker in the Hospital and, well....ALL THE TIMES THE JOKER WAS IN THE MOVIE. :D

By the way, if it wasn't for this $1 fee for changing names, if it was still free, I would've become the Joker again like I said I was going to when the Dark Knight opened and once I saw it. But sadly, I cannot...XD

I loved it. I even went out and bought the Gotham Knight DVD with the "6 interlocking" stories. I went to the midnight showing as well on Thursday when it first came out. I bought my tickets 2 weeks in advance. :)

Heath was the best. Seriously.

Not fond of Christan Bale or whatever his name is as Batman though.

The voice for the Dark Knight was odd though....Also, I thought it was interesting how it was called the "Dark Knight" and not Batman. After seeing the film, I came to the conclusion was because "Batman" is associated with a hero and the Dark Knight creates the association of him being a vigilante.

Also, my favorite quote
He's the hero we deserve, but not the hero we need

That was a very good quote.

My favorite was:

"If you're good at something, never do it for free." - The Joker

I went to see it thursday night as well. I thought it was awesome. One of the best films of the summer. I gotta admit even if Heath Ledger had lived i would have went to see it just to see if it lived up to the hype. But I wasn't dissapointed. I think they could have and probably should have ended it sooner but given what happened with heath ledger and how they left it at the end they can still tie up that particular loose end with a little work. It was one of the best and my fave out of the comic book movies this year.

Yeah. And because of the Dark Knight showing the previews for "The Watchmen" my work and the other nearby stores have sold out of the graphic novel, "The Watchmen." I've began to notice that comic books and graphic novels are starting to become a hit again.
