Tips on how to focus on your homework

I get distracted easily.. I think I have A.D.D. or something...

I can't seem to focus on the important things, home-work, academic wise. I'm so lazy.. VERY VERY VERY VERY lazy. I procrastinate all the time. I rarely not procrastinate

Any tips that could help me concentrate?


Annnnnd I'm wasting my time postin' this thread... I should be doing my essay that's due tomorrow SEE WHAT I MEAN?!!

lol Better than me XD I never did my homework in high school.

Anyway for
1. prob shouldn't be on the net XP.

2. get rid of any distractions... Including brothers A gas chamber helps here

and

3. Wait until the last minute to do homework. That'll stop the procrastinating due to more focused on OMG Work due tomorrow XD

How many times has Inuyasha-sama been shoved into the gas chamber? And no, he doesn't distract me. If anything, I distract him with Snowy, Zemily, Yoyo, Kiba, Sugar, Meatballs, etc...

Ooh YAY I'm finally done with the simple yet complexed essay.. I had the program on for like the whole day but I finished at 12:55 A.M. in the morning, 9 hours before it's due.. 'cause I'm such a terrible procrastinator.. If I was very focused on the essay it would've taken me 45 minutes to finish.. I'm such a lazy ass...

Going to sleep now, bye-bye! No one's gonna reply to this thread, I bet. I'll feel like I was talking to myself if no one does. I'm going crazy and hopefully someone will teach me how to focus better..

it's hard not to procrastinate when your used to doing it. best thing to do is just get focused on what you need to do and work where you'll ge the least amount of distractions (my dad's home office, would be an example, or a study (if u have one)), lastly absolutely never do our homework or study on your bed or in our room if you have a TV and/or a computer in the room. or use scorps "it's due tomorrow"method

if it's about focusing...a coffee or an energy drink does fine ^_^ though you may want to burst out of your seat and run a lap

Take a whole lot of breaks. Study effectively for short period, and take really short breaks. 20 minutes of study, five of break.

I know Raoul Duke is good at study, but for me personally taking a break is the worst thing. It takes me out of the mindset of study, and sooner than I'd like my breaks become longer than my study sessions until I stop studying completely!

A method which worked for me when I tried it, was actually to stay at school after it had finished. Find a table in a boring classroom, sit down and tell myself I can't go home until it's done. This provides a more powerful motive to get the homework done.

^ lol...every time I did that, it was on the day the work was due. And it was a teacher telling me I can't go home until it's done...or fail. I made the right choice, most of the time

Best way to focus on home work is to go some where with no distractions (for a example I always work on it at my college's library) or like Josh said a boring place lol.
