When I was younger, I really liked anime. I was a total otaku.
Gradually, I became less and less fascinated in it, and grew to like other things. I stumbled across some old mangas and anime DVDs, and read/watched them. Now I'm hooked all over again.
It's been a while - have any suggestions to any animes/mangas?
In the past, I really really liked...
Angelic Layer
Full Moon Wo Sagashite
Pita Ten (Always my favorite...♥)
YuGiOh (the manga. Not the show.)
Girl Got Game
InuYasha
Ranma 1/2
Sailor Moon (HECK YEAH!)
Trigun
Anything from Studio Ghibli...
ANYWAYZ. Help plx? ♥

I would try Tokyo Mew Mew, the manga. Don't ever, ever watch the show. You'll cry for how stupid it is. But the manga is pretty good, I definitely recommend it.
Rave Master and Zatch Bell look like things you might want to try. If you like Shojo, I would suggest looking into Fruits Basket. Full Metal Alchemist and Bleach are rather popular, if you want to go with the mainstream audience.
If you like comedy, I would look into Bobobo-bobo-bobo. Most people think its stupid, but I think its hilarious. One of the best shows ever, IMO. Also, Kanpai! is a good series for comedy. And if you don't mind Shonen-ai, then check out Gravitation.
I don't suggest Naruto, but the mangas might be worth looking into. They can't be nearly as stupid as the show, can they?

I've seen the anime version of Tokyo Mew Mew, back when it was on TV - I died a little on the inside...
Zatch Bell I really liked for a while, but it started losing its charm later into the series, I thought. I've never heard of Rave Master, but I'll definitely check it out. I LOVE Fruits Basket - I've seen the whole series and read most of the books.(:
I liked Full Metal Alchemist at first...It got tiresome, I thought. As for Bleach, I liked the idea of it, but I never actually got very into it...
I remember when Bobobo-bobo-bobo was on Cartoon Network - it WAS hilarious. Very random, haha. I don't much care for Gravitation, I don't mind Shounen-ai, though.
The mangas were OK - they got very boring and repetitive after a while, I thought...
Thank you so much for the suggestions, though! I will be sure to check into those.

Also, if you like video games or video game based manga, I would definately suggest Disgaea and Disgaea 2.
Also, onemanga.com has ALOT of good manga on it, and they update pretty regularly on most of them. ^ ^
