Whats everyone's opinion on Bisexuals, Lesbians, and gays? I my self am Bi but if my relationship with this guy doesn't work out I'm giving up on guys and going full out Lesbian. And yes I know being lesbian means loving females everything about them. rather then liking men. The more I think about men the less I like about them when it comes to dating. (its different in a role play) I might go lesbian I'm not sure I might just hold off on dating guys untill I can find a mature one to go with. :3 oh well I'm babbling XD
Back to the point.
What is everyone's opinion on the Bi's Lesbians And Gays dating publicly?
(NOTE: if you don't like Bi's lesbians and gays, simply say so then go away please? I mean yes, you got your opinion out but don't be excessive about it, feelings can be hurt by words. and the last thing I want is an argument over this

Its a calm collected subject that Iv been curious about.)
(P.S. Im sure this is gonna get off track eventually so I don't mind. lol. If it gets off track that's fine. )
(P.P.S! I am in no way insulting anyone!!

So sorry if it seamed like I did!!)

I think it is safe to say that people don't care about a minority sexual preference . Mainly because it is a widely held belief that it is a private issue, not one to be used in everyday public discourse.
Also, if you REALLY wanted to know, you could look into some public opinion polls, also could perhaps look into the FBI's Uniform Crime Report to see perhaps how many hate crimes were committed against the LGBT community (I believe the latest stats are from 2008).
And, on a side note, it seems silly to base one's sexual preference about if someone was mature or not. There are mature guys out there, and believe it nor, some of them are single!
From the sound of things, it seems like you're looking for a serious relationship. Perhaps you should check with your current partner to determine if he is looking for the same thing. I would have more to say, but frankly I don't have enough information to make those guesses.
Oh, and if you're looking for public opinion surveys, look into Gallup. They're one of the biggies. Also, you could look into academic journals, most notably the field of sociology.

Hm...It also seems kinda silly to predicate your sexual preference based upon the info you have given me.

Eh well, I'm open about it because I don't care what people say about me. I like girls and guys and I'm proud. I have since like, 7th grade.

Hm, seems to be a young age to figure all that out. What I was getting at thought was your comment earlier. You said, "The more I think about men the less I like about them when it comes to dating." This seems to suggest to me that you have some boy/men issues.

Yea....I do.....Just to throw the reason out there because I don't want to make anything up. So, yea. For the first 16 years of my life my dad abused me. Now I'm 17. I've always had a huge fear of guys but I force my self to stay calm around them. Also because Iv never had any luck with guys..I always seem to find the ones who are completely insane or only want sex.

That is very unfortunate about your father. Personally, I've never had luck with girls. They always seem to flake on me. And yes, boys are either insane or only ruled by their appetites. Plenty of the girls around my area seem to be emotionally unstable, it's almost as if something was put in the water. Anyway, it is good to keep an open mind, but don't give up. Around 17, guys can get a bit hormonal, plus it seems to be what they care about because of how they were socialized (too much MTV is my guess).
You have to go figure out who you really are before jumping into a serious relationship.

Its fine...well..sorta. He died last year before my birthday. I'm sorry about the girls in your area. I never flake on guys...They just have it to where I have to call THEM. Its annoying. I turn 18 in six months so I'm just going to wait till then and find someone older who's matured a little.
And Ive figured my self out a lot recently....my councilor and family noticed it and told me so. I was a little surprised my self. (I'm in counseling because of the whole...dad thing)

That is good. You've probably still time. I didn't really figure things out until I was in my junior year. I'm now 20 and am pretty close to having my life all planned out. Also, just got my Associate's Degree in social and behavioral sciences.

Currently, have been working in the past 3 years in a bookshop. My ideal job would be to work for the U.S. Solicitor General, or perhaps working in the Office of Legal Counsel. Something up like that.

Chef is cool. Comp tech slightly cool. If you really want to get ahead, get into cyber security. I'm betting that will be a sweet $250k job in 10 years.
