You all set? by popular demand it's coming back with new characters and some olds ones. The trailer is down there and the characters comfirmed i will listen them all that are stated. i will also update this topic for all characters until all final characters are confirmed. so for now. enjoy the list. There will be apperently 35 characters. Add-on Characters might be added but the producer wants to see how the other games with add-on characters do. As for other news and rumors. Do not listen to anything people say until it is confirmed by the producer himself. As for Story mode. Each an every character will receive their own ending. Yes. EVERY CHARACTER! with their own ending.

Update. here is some small news for everyone.

Oh and let me clear things up. Disney will not be taking part of this. They will not be needed to make this game.



• MvC3 will contain a Simple Mode where there will be only one or two attack buttons. This is for new fighting game players so they can get used to things. They can switch to Standard Mode when they feel like they've got the hang of the title.

• Niitsuma confirmed there will be DLC of some sort for MvC3, what exactly will be in these packs hadn't been decided yet though.

• Certain character combinations will enable you to do things that you otherwise wouldn't be able to do. Also, Niitsuma specifically said that they're pushing the individualism of the characters much more so than they did in Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

• Capcom-Europe is currently filming MvC3 player guides with producer Niitsuma-San & general fighting game fanatic Electric Leo.

• The plan to do Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was in place before vanilla Street Fighter 4 was launched. Although Capcom was encouraged by SF4's sales, MvC3 wasn't built in reaction to the other game's success.

• MvC3's lobby system will be different than the one that was in Street Fighter 4.

• When asked if they've heard requests from the fans about putting Phoenix Wright into the game, Niitsuma responded that they have a team of people who monitor online forums and things.

• Ryota said that SF4 got a 3DS and iPhone release because of it's success on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, and it's possible MvC3 could follow in those footsteps as far as having ports to those platforms as well as a Wii and arcade versions, but again, nothing has been decided yet.

• In the first prototype, MvC3 was more of a spiritual sequel to Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, but now the developers want it to be a true sequel to the Marvel vs. Capcom franchise.

• MvC3 was refereed to as a "Triple A, huge budget title," on par with Street Fighter 4 in terms of development costs, so Capcom very much expects this to be a highly successful game.

• Capcom would have to go back and renegotiate another contract with Marvel if they wanted to create an arcade release of MvC3 or other ports.

• Disney buying Marvel has had no impact so far on the development of the game.

• Marvel must approve everything Capcom does. From actual character actions, names of the moves, marketing and promotion and even if they hold live events, Marvel must give their OK.

• At this stage of development, everything is pretty much locked down as far as the characters and features they'll be able to put in the game, but it's possible in the future, they may be able to add in fan requests and other things via DLC, but the schedule is locked down for as far as launch stuff is concerned.

Still can't wait for this game....Although since Capcom is giving out major fangasms how about Capcom vs. SNK 3? That would so totally blow the awesome meter to orbit.

First off lestat there was a april fools joke in a famitsu magazine showing Capcom vs snk 3. it was a joke and might never happen. Depends on ono and king of fighters creator to think about it. Right now, capcom has too many cross games to do and they can't think of putting snk till maybe 2013.

Here are a few people taht are deconfermed from the game from the creator himself

• He thanks everyone for their tweets regarding character suggestions.
• No additional Darkstalkers characters.
• No Monster Hunter.
• No Sengoku BASARA.
• No Breath of Fire.
• No Gill (Street Fighter), but Niitsuma likes him.
• Mega Man fans have to wait a little longer.
