what is hotaru?

anybody know what class hotaru is? i mean i don't see him carrying around a staff or a weapon.........^^ [yes, i do know i said HIM.^^ hotaru is a boy, or so i've heard from reliable sources!^^}

She is a Wavemaster. It says so in the Manga.. and In the manga is shows her as a girl too... I know some mangas don't always follow the Animes, but i don't think they would have changed that...

Hotaru's a Wavemaster. There was something in the 2nd or 3rd manga that stated that she and Tsukasa were the same type of player character.
