Well it shouldn't the anime was based on the manga so every chaper is an episode.

yea... but not all anime are the same as the manga.. i have the dna manga and the first 3 disks and they are very different.

The FMA Manga is VERY different. The Homunculi themselves are proof of this.
In the Manga, Sloth is male. In the Anime, Sloth is Female. Also, Wrath in the Manga is Pride in the Anime. And the one behind the entire thing is different as well, I think.
