Absolute Anime

if you haven't they have big news for girl fans from viz and good news from tokyopop for every manga lover. first up girl news well mostly. Viz, who makes shonen jump is putting out a shojo manga like shonen jump entitled Shojo Beat. i think it's really good news. Secondly if you go to Tokyopop.com you can sign up for a free magazine subscription to TOKYOPOP takuhai which sends you a magazine (duh) packed with manga previews, interviews, etc. you get the idea. Best of all it's free. just thought if you haven't read it you might want a heads up.

yeah I can't wait I read anime insider and am so buying shojo beat!!! It's coming out mid june or july...I think.

Oh yeah this issue is awesome. lots and lots of info. shojo beat will be out this june. i would assume about the same time as shonen jump.

yeah I buy shonen jump every month.

i do now since i've got a job. I had to miss a few chapters and it took me forever to figure out what was going on. But i wouldn't miss it for the world.

I have exactly...16 monthly shonen jump issues.

i have exactly 21 issues. i wish i had the other 3 issues.

thank you i think so too. i bought the very first issue up until sometime last year and then i didn't have the money to buy it for a couple months. now it's back on track though.

good to hear. that hasn't happened to me yet.

if at all possible don't let it happen either. when i finally started buying them again i was so lost. it's horrible.

I can only imagine the sheer horror of it all.

it is a horror. i managed to come through unscathed though. seriously though it's amazing how fast a manga progresses in just 3 months.
