I was wondering In Sailor Moon the time gate goes forward in time, is it the same effect as the Higurashi well

Sort of. They both travel through time yes, but no, it is not the same concept. The well is a means to traveling for Kagome and Inuyasha, which can only be done because Kagome is Kikyo's reincarnation and Inuyasha is Kikyo's and Kagome's love. In Sailor moon, the time portal is a means of traveling through the fourth demension through time; available to anyone with a key.

My theory is that its like a positve and negative. One part is traveling to the future and traveling to the past. and a ouestion what do you mean by a fourth demension.

i have never seen sailor moon on tv. does it come on on tv or do you have to buy it? i'll give you my in-put on this theory as soon as i actually see the show myself. and as for kagome and inuyasha i think the anonoymous guest is right about kagome being able to travel through the well baecause of her being kikyo's reincarnation but just because inuyasha is kikyo's and kagome's loves doesn't really explain why he can also travel through the well. that tree was a way for kagome to be connected to inuyasha cuz they were talking to each other through it in that movie: Affections Across Time or whatever it was called.

The horrible English dub used to air on North American TV, but they took it off after the fourth season. You can buy it at almost any anime distributor.
