It's a musical addaptation of H.G. Wells' book. Anyone else heard of it or am I the only one here who has.

Is that the one with some of the music by Justin Hayward and Richard Burton does the narration? Or something newer. I have it on vinyl and an old cassette of it. Would love to get it on CD. It's really very good.

That's the one. My personal favorite version of WotW.

Thanks for the link, Quaker! Got to get the digital remix. It is an amazing piece of work. Damn, now I'm going to have to go dig out the old cassette just so I can hear it again. Some of the music is very "Moody Blues," some of it sounds very Jesus Christ Super Star and some uniquely War of The Worlds!

No problem.

I don't know if it's worth noting that a Ps1 and Pc game was released based on this version.
