Because orginally Launch was gonna be cut out of the american version so by the time Dragonball was allowed DBZ was already dubbed and changed and the lazy people decided to just leaver her out

but in the original version,Launch still isn't in DBZ...

Really I heard the american version cut her out when the Dragonball came out but instead of showing her they took her out why was it mental instablity I think it was so instead of confusing people by briing her in for a few episiodes they just edited them out she was in a few episodes and talked and everything I heard so if shes not in the orginal Japense version of DBZ I really wouldn't know why
