MAR(Marchen Awakens Romance)

Anyone seen this anime? I'm currently watching it on youtube since horrible Cartoon Network can't get the episode orders right. I like it in general, despite some of its childless antics and its unoriginal story plot. Hhm, I must say it's better than some of the anime I watched.

Does anyone know what the title means?

Well, I've only seen the first 4 episodes, so I still don't know to much yet. **SPOILERS** The story is about a kid named Ginta. He's kind of a nerd(even though his grades are supposed to be average), and he day dreams a lot in class. He has this one dream where he is fighting some type of monster(which is called a Guardian I think), and he has the dream 102 times. He really feels like he is in that different world, but none of his classmates believe him except this one girl(I don't remember her name). To make the story short, Ginta is taken to the world called MAR Heaven, literally through a "door." He befriends a rare artifact called Bappo,an ARM, which is an item that can be made bigger, into some type of weapon. Some arms can summon deities/monsters, and some can transform into weapons such as swords. The ARM is usually worn in the form of some type of necklace or ring. So far, that's all I know to the story.

So far, I think it's a good anime. It's nothing too typical, but so far I give it a 7 out of 10.

You can start watching it on the Cartoon Network. They restarted the show from the beginning. I think they are on episode 4 or 5. The show looks like it has some good action in the later episodes.

MAR is so cool. I absolutely love it. Right now i'm on episode 27. I wanted to watch it on cartoonnetwork but they did screw up the episodes. but i don't watch it on cartoonnetwork or youtube. I watched it when it first started on toonamijetstream.

There are a few sites that have anime on them, if only I could remember them...

I like MAR, I've watched a little of the anime and read the first book of the manga.

I love MAR. Nanashi's so cute! But I, too, was pissed at Cartoon Network for not getting the episodes right.

Took a look at it on 'Toon but found it geared a little young for my taste.
