Looking for the name of...

... a CG cartoon series on one of the kids cable channels probably around 97-99 cant really remember.
Protagonist was a small girl whos father invented some AI that controls the earth in the future, she tries to stop it in the past, but the AI sends back giant robots to stop her. She has a giant robot that protects her and it could power itself up sort of DBZ style. It was all CG im sure.
Had really nice mech designs, the robot that protected the girl was a bit of a simpleton if i remember. She lived in a huge mansion with other people who had their own robots too, but not as powerful as hers. I believe she was searching for items in the present day ( data chips something vague like that ) that were part of the future AI and made it weaker every time she did find one.
Sorry to be so vague, watched it on and off while it aired, family life taking priority and all, just wouldn't mind seeing it again if its available for purchase. Trawled through a few sites with no luck so far (imdb, tv.com etc).I live in the uk, it was on cable so maybe cartoon network, nickleoden or it could have been on one of the sunday morning kids programs on one of the terrestial channels.
