It was only a quote back then, a simple phrase.

A war changed that simple phrase into the creed that all life would live by. It was a war that devastated the world and impacted it so much that even the tides of water and land shifted creating a new world.

It came to be known as Renada Espadi.

After the war ended it was to be expected that in its wake a revolution would take place. But no one ever thought it would continue even to this day…

Between The Rogues, Black Pirates, and the Imperial Armada the world was still a blazing sea full of ships that were trying to sway the tides in their favor. With the change of the world almost becoming completely dominated by water and islands with a few continents that were massive, they fight amongst each other for the glory and the treasure. Of course Pirates and sea fairing people were not the only ones in existence but they are the major players of the world’s fate.

The Imperial Armada under the command of the Queen of Valant, the largest continent and nation of people in existence, they are a forbidding force that no Pirate Rogue or Black would wish to have them hunted by. As of current times the Queen is sending out a decree for all Valant or willing explorers to go across the vast seas into Deep Sky area and explore what is thought to be a new continent almost as big as Valant. Of course the anti for explorers has risen because of the increasing Black Pirates in the area, and for all Pirates who wish to collect upon this particular bounty better re-think it, the Queen has no tolerance for Pirates.

The Black Pirates are what you would expect. The Pirates that hold no mercy, kill without hesitation and take whatever they want, and more than they would ever need. They pillage everything from the high-seas and inland where they dock at a portside town. They take no prisoners, and leave none alive that can one day wield a gun or raise a sword in vengeance. They have but one rule, that is to follow the Capitan to death. There are Eighteen deemed the worst of the bunch, and the one at the top as number one is only known by the sighting of the ship that carriers death itself once…

The Rogues of course would be the protagonist of the three, though they are not exactly the heroes. They are more restrained and only take from the ships that have large cargos, they spare lives and help when they can or feel like it. They are a laid back sort of group but despite their tendency to be more lenient, the Rogues are no pushovers and are a bunch that have will and courage to stand up against even the worst foe…though they do not always come out as the victors.

There is…another group that travelers on Renada Espadi should take account of.

A place where even the most melichious of the Black Pirates would dare not sail their ship. It is called the Ring of Hell. Smalls islands in a circle that surround one larger island that no one has lived to tell of. They are creatures with no name, only that they were left over from the war, humans who had gone mad and trapped on those islands. As far as anyone knows they resorted to cannibalism, with their numbers they storm together for the common goal that is the only thing dictating their lives…to eat. If there is nothing fresh, they eat each other…their numbers cannot be counted for no one returns from the Ring of Hell alive, there are only the few that see glimpses of them through their scopes as they pass in the distance. These creatures are the vomit that came from the bowls of hell, that the ruler of the underworld did not even want them there.

No one ever goes into those islands and returns, No One.

Renada Espadi is a world full of opportunities for different types of people that are not associated with piracy.

Besides Valant in the center of the world, the second biggest continent to the north west and well, fanciest was Opessa. The rich love it there for the beautiful scenery and noble families that throw the grandest parties with beautiful Victorian dresses and men that were as handsome as they come. There are exotic dark skinned natives in the far east on the islands of Sacres, Sacrelm, and Sacrulean. There are port towns on various islands and small villages all over the world. Merchant ships are plenty, cargo and transports along with small fishing vessals.

This is where the world starts…this is where it will begin, but everything is not as it seems and the world would again be shifted in its course…


I’d love to welcome you to the world of Renada Espadi. This is a world full of different options and plot lines that will thicken as times pushes on. The story of Renada Espadi is yours for the making, please enjoy.

Black Pirate: (Evil Pirate, there are 18 slots open for the ranked fiercest Black Pirate, PM me if you want a ranking number!)
Imperial Armada: (The Six Admirals are in charge of at least a fleet of ten ships, plus have direct contact with the Queen and therefore most of the plotline, before you rank yourself however PM me and tell me why you should be ranked 1-6, there are only Six slots)
Civilian: (Merchant, Transport, Crew Member, Nobleman, Thief, Mercenary, the Queens Royal Guard, etc…)

The Creatures of the Ring of Hell: OFF LIMITS.

No linking biographies with the Ring of Hell either.

IF you’d like to ever travel to the Ring of Hell PM me and why I should let you go there, it is a major part of the plot line and if it’s a good enough byline than I’ll agree to it but if you can’t convince me than its completely off limits. If your characters become intertwined with mine than of course your going to be introduced to the plot and probably become a big piece of the story.

NO there are no supernatural things in this story. If you are shot, than you take a few weeks at least to recover, there are no supernatural abilities and no skills that can’t be matched.

I know everyone loves to be the best, you know with skills and fighting and having all the best weapons, but how in the heck will anything happen if everyone is the best? I know it sucks but you’ll be surprised how fun normal gunslinging humans can be! So, if you are ever in battle don’t be surprised if your skills aren’t enough to keep you from being stabbed or clipped by a bullet.

Other than that, Renada Espadi is waiting for those who dare to test its waters, tread upon its lands and take arms against an entire Armada of Valant…in due time.


My character is of course directly linked to the plot line. You get to have at least four main characters and side characters for crew if you’re a Capitan. If you want more than four main PM me and let me know.

Bio: An ex-Black Pirate Capitan, Nina has a tragic past that is well known amongst the Pirate nation. Because of her father once holding the title of the second fiercest of the nightmarish eighteen, growing up in normal means was never an option. Her mother was as much a pirate as her father Nathaniel, and her twin brother Nicholas as well. While growing up they lost their mother on an ambush by three Black Pirates, she was lost in the fray. Nathaniel sought and achieved his vengeance only to be killed himself by the Six Admirals in a battle that the Armada staged against him.

After his death Nina and Nicholas took over as the Capitan’s of his ship The Reaper and for a year they did as their parents before them, until another battle scathed their family, Nicholas being lost in the fight.

Four years later however would bring one last tragedy to their family, Nina upon seeing a passing ship boarded and started killing the crew of a Rogue Pirate ship. The Capitan of the ship was cloaked and as their struck blades, she would come out the victor and stab him in their heart. Removing the cloth that covered his face, she was numb as Nicholas smiled.

He pleaded for her to take his ship, and his crew and protect them. He told her of the young woman that had saved him, taught him and loved him. That he had found the Rogues side of the war so much more difficult because of their kindness, that he wished for Nina to find what he did. After his burial at sea, she did as he bequest and took over his ship the Valkyrie and putting The Reaper under the command of her only other trusted soul Shadow. Nina holds true to her Black Pirate heritage but is gradually learning the ways of a Rogue, and while her crew mainly takes care of that, she is never passive when they are attacked.

Bio: Shadow was born in an ancient village of Ninja who make their way in the world by training skilled assassins and selling them off to the highest bidder. For Shadow the highest bidder was the Black Pirate Nathaniel Epsilon, and despite him being a ruthless creature was a Capitan that deserved respect. Upon his death Shadow took to being Nina’s personal guard and close confidant of Nicholas. Gaining the trust enough to Capitan The Reaper when Nicholas was found and Nina killing him by her own hands, he will remain true and loyal to the Black Pirate one rule.

Bio: Lawrence is the epitome of what a pirate Capitan should never be. That is why he is stationed as vice. He is a ladies man by nature growing up in Opessa in a wealthy family he was spoiled his whole life. On a transport when Nina first became a Rogue, she spared his life and he dedicated his too her. He likes women of all kinds and flirts without pause, he has a cold aloof appearance until he shatters it by trying to touch a woman in any manner. Despite his prissy nature he is a skilled fencer and it takes a lot to counter his quick flicks and stances. He hates guns, the powder stains his clothes…

These are my main three characters, and it seems like a lot of work but hey I’m always up to putting 100% of my creativeness into the stories!

Bio: When she was twenty years old, she woke up on the shore of a deserted island. At first, she hadn't seen anything around, and was frightened, but she soon found a wrecked schooner (Small boat, sorry bout the spelling), and found a picture of herself and only a small bit of information about herself, including her name, age, and a few other technical details. She doesn't remember anything, and, after fixing the hole in the hull of her boat, set out to find anyone who might know about her past. In the two years since then, she hasn't found much.

Bio: He belonged to an upper class family called the Kantessa's but ran away after a fight with his younger sister when he was fifteen. He roamed for a long time before striking up a bond with Ulyssa. They bought a boat and started to raid other ships. He had been writing his sister from various points, but when he was 21, he lost track of her after recieving a letter that she was going alone to find him. He fears the worst, but won't leave his crew to find her.

Bio: The is the one with the least want for the throne but is the most suited. he is proclaimed virtuous hero for the people for backing up five laws which protected the rights of the imperial citizens. but he is truly called a Genius when he could tie a land general in a mock battle at the age of 13. he dislikes having responsibilities, but when responsibilities are thrusted at him he rarely ever fails. his ship the Arbiter is only a 50 man ship, and is the fastest ship in the Armada. he fights like a shaolin monk with just a wooden staff.

He and his two sworn brothers set out by themselves, without consent from the Queen. they wanted to come but were banned by the six admirals.

Bio: A head strong Friend and sworn brother to Luriyu and Shinn. he is the Strongest fighter of the three, but the most brash and stupid of the three, he likes to drink and carriers the power of the three man fleet, having a large galleon with 500 men aboard. he fights with a cross spear.

Bio: The calmest of the three Heroic brothers, but when forced to act he is quite a danger. he is as smart as Luriyu and the more skilled Fighter than Yukimuira. The Averice is the same size ship as Yuki's ship but carries less but more accurate Cannons, it is armed with 350 men. he rarely ever wants to fight and enjoys being lazy, he fights with a black katana

Bio: Kei isnt really loyal to anyone, prefering her own company and crew rather than other ships. Not much is know about her other than her mood swings. One moment she could be perfectly peaceful, the next on the prowl for violence. She can be quite merciless, almost suited to the Black Pirate life, but her softer side shows through.

Nina gazed out across the open see, the mist heavy set as dawn was just breaking. It was like this a lot in the northern territory, misty waters and the cold biting your skin.

Footsteps sounded behind her. "Capitan, we've spotted a black sail in 4 maybe 5 clocks away, what will you do?"

Nina did not reply simply swiped her hand in the air, a common sign to go ahead and set sail towards the ship.

It had been sometime since she'd come across a Black vessel and she would make good use of her luck. Recently that blasted Queen has been using many of her ships to attack Pirates nearing the Deep Sky. There was obviously something there that the Queen wanted to get too first, but what it was is a mystery.

Even her spies were having a difficult time trying to decipher what the Queen was after, especially trying to get on a continent so close to the Ring of Hell. It was a troubling thought really, that the Queen may have learned of something...

"Tooman, I want you to send word to the Reaper and Glacier. Tell them to congrigate at Suns Isle, there is much needed to be discussed." She stated and returned to gazing out at see.

Keioki yawned and twirled a lock of hair round a finger as she gazed out over the misty ocean.
"I hate mornings," she grumbled as the crew moved about the ship. Her First Mate, Jonathon stood just behind her to the left, scanning the crew with a practised eye.
"Are they up to scratch Jon?" She looked round and he smiled.
"They sure are. You can pick a good crew Captain!!" Kei smirked and scratched her head. Her last crew had got captured during a land visit to Valant. It wasnt her fault they used to be Black Pirates!! She cackled to herself at the memory. She and Jon had sneaked out the back of the tavern, knowing they would probably arrested too if they were found.
"So Kei, what do you feel like today? Merciful Rogue, helping those in trouble? Or merciless pirate, capturing, plundering and kidnapping?" Kei cackled again and looked to the East.
"Lets see shall we? Set a course for Valant waters, I want to see whats happening over there," Jon pulled a face but followed orders, yelling instructions to the crew as the ship swung east and began to glide to Valant.

Luriyu Gilgalad carried his book and wooden staff, the water was misty. his ship had been damaged slightly by the storm. standing at the bow of his ship equally across from him on their ships were Yukimuira Anamaya and Shinn Ellastar. Yuki was drinking coffee and looking out from the mist, it was morning and a pirate town was ahead it was the nearest port, if they secured it and sent word to the admirals maybe they'd be awarded with another medal, and access to greater lands.

As the mist cleared the town was just waking up, the black pirates were unware of what would happen, and his spies suggested there was a large port wide party and most of the pirates would probably be suffering from hangovers.

Luriyu raised his hand and 25 fighting monks had lined up behind him, Yuki signaled and he was gained with a large group of long pole wielding guards. Shinn just nodded and 40 similarly dressed musketeers lined up behind him.

"Shinn! long range bombardment cover our charge, Yuki head the assault your guns will blow away the unreleased ships!"
the two nodded and grinned

Shinn's ship turned to the side readied their cannons and fired at the dock as the two other ships charged "Yuki prepare the fire attack!" 100 archers ran up on deck, their bows and crossbows in hand. flames were lit and the misty morning started with raining flames.

Nina gazed down at him, on his knees as many a man had been before her. Flames upon the deck of the ship sounded as the crew behind her watched as their Capitan was being sentanced to death.

"Diety, to think that you were the one to cross paths with on this day." The Black Pirate known as Serge stated with little malice. "To die by your hands as my brother died by your fathers. Today is a good day."

"Tell me, what do you know of the Queens desire for the continent in Deep Sky. It is unravaged by colonization however it is close enough to the Ring of Hell that no man wishes to try their luck with it, what is the Queen after." Nina questioned while putting the dagger back into its shieth.

Serge let out a breath and shook his head. "There is little that a Black Pirate such as I know, but what I can tell you is that your father before your birth had gone to Deep Sky. The Queen must have been told by your fathers old crew that scattered, perhaps one who had been captured?"

It wasn't uncommon to hear something like that, a traitor from her father's former years. "I see."

"Be aware Diety, there are at least four of the Eighteen Black Pirates in the seas leading to Deep Sky and even the Queen is having difficulty passing. I know not why the Black Pirates are protecting the area, but I believe it may result in secrets the First Band of Black Pirates hid away long ago." Serge stood up.

"I will spare you Serge, for the information and your crew, but I will be taking your cargo." Nina stated while turning. "I will go to Deep Sky, if you cross paths with The Reaper, or The Frost inform them of our encounter. They will accompany you to restock your supplies."

"You're kind to a Black Pirate?" Serge was amused but took the offer with gratitude, she wasn't doing it out of kindness but respect, which was something so much more to a pirate.

Nina boarder the Valkyrie, this information was enough to convince her, after stopping at Suns Isle she'll head towards Deep Sky in the North-East. Hopefully Lawrence was meeting with her spy in Valant, she was ready to start making her move.

"My Queen, we have received word that our three vessels have yet again been destroyed trying to enter the Deep Sky seas, the works of Black Pirates." A man informed.

The Queen crushed the rose that was in her hand. "I care not, send more vessels and if this persists I want you to send the Amirals. I've no tolerance for Pirates, I want them all beheaded on sight. I don't care what Valant loyals are killed in the fray, just get to that continent!"

"Mother..." the Prince slightly sighed before turning and walking out of the audience chamber, his mother was a cruel woman.

"Why so down Oremond?" a slick voice asked while a neatly dressed man in white and shining blonde hair came out from the shadows.

"Lawrence," Oremond looked about before whispering. "My mother is getting restless, it seems she is ready to send the Admirals and their fleet of ships."

"That certainly isn't good my dear prince," Lawrence sighed while rubbing his cheek. "I need a drink before my departure, give your mother my families regard and all that. I'll pass your message on to Diety."

"Thank you, tell her to be very cautious." The Prince gave a nod before walking away.

Lawrence rolled his eyes, he needed a drink and women, lots of women. Pretty women hopefully. Valant was full of women, what a great place!

Keioki leant on the rail of her ship as they plowed through the misty morning with good speed. In the distance, a red glow became visable, slightly west of their destination. Frowning, she immediately told Jon to change course, heading towards the glow. This was Black Pirate territory, and in that dirtection was a pirate town. She didnt know anyone from there, but a fight was a fight. As they neared, the mist cleared and the scene of the three ships attacking the town was unvieled. Keioki immediately roared for a stop. She sent out orders, via Jon, to keep just at the edge of the mist bank, out of sight and harm. Using her telescope, she watched the scene unfold
"Dammit, the Queens men are up to their killing ways again. Bet their killing everyone, even the bairnes (kids)," Jon stood beside her, his face grim.
"They are Black Pirates," Keioki looked at him and sighed, shaking her head.
"Its not the bairnes fault they were born to that is it?" She went back to watching Luriyu, Shinn and Yuki's attack.

Nina stepped onto the Island, her eyes scanning the tree line before waving a hand, signiling her scouts and their squads to search the area for anyone that might already be on the island.

It wasn't uncommon to find Rogues stopping on this particular Island for a break, it was a known Rogue retreat spot. Suns Isle is a peaceful place for Rogues to come with towers on either sides for ships that dock for a long while. This was also the place where most Rogues choose to meet in order to congrigate amongst one another.

"Suns Isle is quiet, we are the first to arive." A skathy voice stated while his footsteps were not heard, on his approach.

"Yes it would seem so." Nina remarked while turning to see her only true trusted commrade, Shadow.

He motioned towards the large stone ampitheater. "I've recieved a messanger from Glacier, he is in Valant and has spoken with Oremond."

Nina gave him a nod, there was nothing more needed to be said. "We will station here for a few days, we need preperations and if any other Rogues show up perhaps they'll desire a glory filled mission."

"They don't like you, you're a former Black Pirate once one of the worst." Shadow stated while folding his arms. "What you're planning to do is a sentance of certain death, going against not only Black Pirates but the Armada."

Nina chuckled. "Yes."

Shadow remained silent watching their crews. "I've heard of a ship that is incredible speed under the command of,"

"The Prodigy or something like that, yes. His ship the Arbiter is supposedly the fastest in Valant." She finished for him. "It's amusing. Your orders are to engage any Valant ships, Black Pirates only if you are fired upon first, but I doubt The Reaper will be attacked. After all, The Reaper earned the title of Second of the Eighteen. The Valkyrie has been fortified to match the Reaper and Glacier's Frost is a speed demon. Even if his ship is fastest in Valant, it is different outside of that pitiful excuse of Valant."

"I understand." Shadow gave a bow before excusing himself to tell his second in command.

Nina turned around, the morning was still young and daylight had just broken, a battle would soon begin. She wondered if there were any Rogues that were as crazy as she was, would they come and would they follow her to death? No...Rogues are not as loyal as Black Pirates as ironic as that was, it was the truth. Rogues in her eyes, had to earn her loyalties by the shedding of blood on behalf. Stupid fools of Valant, what was that wretch of a Queen after?

As Kei watched the scene unfold she saw a bird flying towards her ship. Now ordinarily, she would take no notice of birds, but this was the Golden Gull, glinting in the morning sun as it flapped its way to her boat. It landed tidily on her railing, next to her elbow and squarked. The gull wasnt naturaly gold, but painted by its owner of a once loyal ship to Kei, The Swift. Kei smiled fondly at the memories of that boat and sighed inwardly at how they had scorned her after she decided to go at it alone. Marisa was too fond of 'keeping' her friends. But she still contacted Kei now-and-then, to check she was still alive. Kei took out the rolled piece of parchment in the comparment on the gulls leg and read it.
"Theres apperently a meeting on Sun Isle. About the mysterious continent Deep Sky. Hmmmmm," Jon looked at her.
"Surely your not considering it! Look, even Marisa is against it and shes practically a Black Pirate. You have no loyality to this captain, Deity or her ship," Keioki grinned.
"You do know who Deity is?" Jon frowned then shook his head
"Of course I do, a once Black Pirate of all things and daughter of you know who. I totally decide against it," Kei patted him on the head.
"Whos the captain here first mate?" Jon sighed
"You Captain Lone Wolf," Kei chuckled
"Good good. As long as you know. But first I must see how this battle goes. You never know, there might be plunder after the Valant pigs have had their way!" Jon shook his head again
"One minute your angry about children, then next your thinking about taking part in a dangerous voyage and plunder. Always the same," Keioki, her eye back on her telescope, smiled again.
"Yup. And we set sail tomorrow for Sun Isle. Its only a few hours South,"

Lawrence sighed heavily, this was a good day for drinking and women but unfortunately he's being detained from his festivities due to the second Admiral Ivan. The man was violent yet cordial man, who was a pig with women and a malicious Capitan of his ship the Miannmar.

"So Lawrence, how are your Black Pirate friends?" Ivan asked while sipping from his cup.

This Tavern wasn't exactly the best spot for this, but rumors have started that Lawrence Oleander was apart of a Pirate crew, what blasphemy. "Pirate friends? I've not heard such lies since the woman who claimed I impregnated her! How indignant."

Ivan eyed him suspiciously of course, before smirking. "You wouldn't mind spending a few days here, my family is having a grand party the Queen will even be attending. I'm sure she'd love to see you."

"Of course I'd come, how pleasurable to be invited to an event with the Queen attending," Lawrence drawled out. "Besides I've nothing planned, I was going to return to Opessa but this is much better!"

Ivan huffed, he obviously didn't get Lawrence to crack and seeing as he had no standing to have him arrested he stood up and left.

Lawrence shifted uncomfortably, Nina wasn't going to like this...

Nina stood quietly at the edge of the ampatheater that was stationed almost in the middle of the isle. There were columns surrounding the circular place with it going downwards, indenting with stone seats. Many a Rogue meetings have been conducted here, since the war.

"Capitan, we've sent word out to various snitches, the rumors of your meeting are beginning to spread." One of her scouts stated, dismissing himself at her silence.

Nina's eyes narrowed, this was becoming personal. She didn't want to wait around forever, especially because her father had once landed on the continent in Deep Sky...what pre-tell was there...what could be so important? Whatever it was, she knew, she had to get to it first.
