Jace looked around standing almost on his own, he didn't want to go over there by himself...that girl was crazy! Why did Neko have to go?

"For pity sake..." he grumbled while walking across the yard and going into the barn.

He heard a sniffle.

"Uh, hello?" he asked aloud while looking around.

"Go away!!!" she screamed, choking as she cried out. "Just go away..."

Jace rolled his eyes. "You're going to love it here I can tell already, here my sis made this for you. And," he frowned while walking towards the exit of the barn. "Everyones just trying to help, its not easy what with everything thats going on...you should be grateful they're even coming over here."

"I...didn't ask for this." She barked out but shyly added. "My parents made me come here...I didn't have much choice! I just wanted to go on a trip with my friends and here I get stuck with a crappy farm just after my birthday! I...I don't care what you people think..."

"If thats so, then why cry? Feeling a little guilty maybe? You should be careful who you get mad at, after all most of these people are the ones who own the lands around here. So unless your planning to go to the city miles away then you best apologize." Jace finished while letting out a breath.

Well he wasn't going to chide her to much, after all most of the people here were younger than herself, there were only a few adults above the age of twenty and he did understand that its a harsh burden to take on a task of running a farm.

"If you need anything you should head to the Chubby Bunny, its the bakery that my sister owns, she'll hook you up." And with that he was gone.

He had to go to Saara's Ranch, which he was particularly looking forward to...her brothers were little devils...

Mirae has just woken up. 'Kay Buddy, We have some work to do'. She watched the news before she went out to water her plants and take care of her farm animals. It was half past ten and she remembered that she must go to the store and buy some seeds and food.

-At 11:00 am-
Mirae has entered the store and went to Aya to get what she needs. "Good Morning Aya"

"Good Morning to you too", she said with a friendly smile

"I need some things"

"Sure, what do you need?"

Mirae gave her list to Aya and Aya went to get what she needed.

"by the way, there's a new farmer in town" said Aya

"Really, now" then I better go meet whoever that new farmer is.

Koryu looked at Chase, and backed off. She stood on the road and started sniffing, wiping her eyes. "I was just trying to be neighborly. I didn't realize she was such a mean old lady." Chase whined, and Koryu pat him on teh head. "Let's go home."

Mirae said bye and went home. Along the way, she saw Koryu.

"Hi" she said to Koryu

Koryu looked up, and nodded. "Hello." Chase barked in greeting.

Jace sighed a little perturbed after having met the wicked witch of the wasted farm, but he did have to sympathize with her, she'd come around eventually like all the newcomers did she just needed a bit of time.

He walked quietly and cautiously into the area of Brownie Ranch that was owned by his sisters best friend Saara.

"BOO!!!" screamed a young Shawn jumping from behind a tree.

Jace frowned, that was it? "Uh...oh no?"

He was a little premature in thinking it was over...just as he finished saying no his back exploded in an erruption of sparks and hot singes.

"HOLY!!!" he yelped while turning around in circles and swatting at his back.

"Hahaha let you're gaurd down! Way too easy." Shane stated giving a high-five to his brother.

Jace growled simply tossing the bag to the twins and walking off. He scratched the back of his neck that was itchy from the firecracker, as his walk brought him back coming passed the newest farm he frowned.

That girl was laying on the ground looking up at the sky. Without thought he strode over to her and laid down next to her.

"What are we doing?" he asked nonchalantly while putting his hands behind his head.

Karen was quiet for a moment before responding. "I...I have to apologize to those people...but I'm...not sure..."

"Not sure on how you go about doing it?" Jace finished while shrugging. "Probably, just saying you were sorry would suffice, they aren't a pack of wolves that'll eat you."

Karen snickered but let out a breath. "It's going to be tough...but I don't really want help you know, I mean...I have to learn to do it on my own if I'm going to stay here."

"It's not a crime to ask for help." He stated while sitting up. "But you're right, you should get to work."

Sighing she sat up. "Yeah...would you..."

"Sure, where do you want to start?" Jace questioned.

Karen smiled widely.

Blaze smiled,touching the end of the axe and a chuckle came from his mouth"This is far the best Axe I ever had!!!"He yelled loudly"I'm gonna sell alot this year..this is going to be a great year for me."

Neko sighed,arriving back at his ranch tired abit but he still had work to do.He went to the chickens picking up some eggs and placing them in a basket,then placing the chicken feed on the ground for the Roaster,Chickens,and Chicks.

Neko Now goes to the cows and sheep letting them outside and giving them a bath feeding the baby cows."Whew..so much work to do not enough help."He chuckled yawning and going into his house"Now what to cook."

Zaka arrived home finally on his horse hoping down from it and taking it back into the shed"What a day this turned out to be.."He said walking back into his home ploping down on his chair and turning on the t.v

The daylight was fading, and as such she didn't think it was the proper time for what he was making her do...

Karen sighed, she looked back at Jace who was standing a few feet behind with his arms folded.

"This is it right..." she bit the inside of her cheek while fidgetting the bundle in her arms. "I...don't think I can do this...he probably thinks I'm a complete monster!" she hissed.

Jace merely shrugged while walking up towards the farms edge and letting out a whistle, hopefully Neko would hear him. "All you have to do is apologize."

"It's easier said than done! I completely ripped him apart, not that I mean he took it to heart but I didn't hold back..." Karen stated while flicking her bundle. "He probably will just laugh and throw this back at me."

"Most likely, then again he may not." Jace stated, while rolling his eyes, jeez people younger than him were such spazs...

Neko came out from the barn wiping the sweat from his face"Yes?..Oh Jace!Whats up?!"He yelled,walking over to him slowly then seeing the girl a frown went across his face which quickly disappeared with a sudden smile"Oh Jace and the new farmer?Is there something you need?

Jace waved a hand. "Yo." His simple greeting.

There was a silent pause, Karen knawing on the inside of her cheek before Jace shook his head and nudged her forward.

She stumbled slightly blushing as she took a deep breath. "I'm sorry about earlier I totally didn't mean to be so rude but I just had a lot on my mind and I didn't know about the farm and how rundown it was I just had a stress-attack and I took it out on you I'm so sorry and I brought you some donuts!" she finally took a breath, there had been almost not one pause during the whole thing.

She held up the small bundle. "My name is Karen Gram..."

Jace simply snorted, they hadn't even exchanged names...sheesh.

Neko chuckled,taking the small bundle and patting her shoulder"The name is Neko Hizumi of course owner of this fine ranch..its ok I would have been the same way..I was kinda pissed for walking all that way for nothing."He laughed abit"Anyways thank you for the donuts.Now!Do you want your cow or should I deliver it tomorrow?.."He smiled,he almost forgot she even yelled at him for moment there.

She frowned when he patted her shoulder, he was younger than her...and here he was patting her on the shoulder!? Weird...

Her frown upturned as she smiled. "Actually I was hoping you could keep the cow for a few more days...the farm needs a lot of work and the barn won't be ready for another few days."

Jace sighed while scratching his neck. "I've wasted a whole day...anyways I'm going back."

Karen gasped. "Hey wait you're the one who dragged me here and I don't remember the way back!"

"Not my problem really, you should have paid attention." He stated while waving. "See ya later Neko."

Heaving a sigh she put a hand on her forehead. "Well I guess there's no time like the present to start getting familiar with the surrounding area..." Turning she waved. "Could you keep the cow for me?"

Koryu looked up, and nodded. "Hello." Chase barked in greeting.

"Have you heard about the new farmer in town?"

Neko nods,"Of course!"He smiled,"Do you need me to show you to the others?"

"Others?" she gave him an odd look, what did he mean others?
