Gouki sighed and shook his head, "Why does stuff like this always happen around me?"

Moments later he was up and near the table catching Kei as she falls unconsious. Looking over at a group of gathered villagers he lets out a snarl and sends them running. Turning towards the door he comes face to face with an old man who smiles his own crooked smile, "Ever the charmer Master Gouki.... Welcome back...."

Letting out a chuckle Gouki nods and continues past heading outside only to come face to face with the female Steel Guard. Glancing around they both relax alittle as she flashes a smile, "Welcome home Sensei.. All has been prepared as you had asked. The lone cottage in the woods is ready for you and your comrades. We'll leave you alone there and if someone must go it'll be me."

With that she turns and hurries away as Gouki turns and makes his way towards the woods....

"Awwwwwwwww...........I was looking forward to a challenging fight....why did you have to do that???" *put away both blades in a really big canvas sack on his back*

Luriyu had caught Kei and watched as the steel guard walked away "sheesh..." he sighed as he carried kei into a shady corner where he started to work with his water magic. he used the moisture in the air to produce a handful of water which started to glow in a pale light as he started to rejuvenate her with his water magic. the floating water had slowly seeped into her skin. "thanks for cooling the situation back there"

he smiled at her then he noticed Gouki leaving and Staun pouting by himself in the barren center of the room.

"hey...you! what the hell did you think you were doing?" he yelled at Staun when the water had diminished, and he was happy no one had found out.

*sits down* "Hey, can I order something now....." *Pulls out a small sac with coins in it* "I need some fast service before I find those Steel Guard again..........Do you guys know how hard it is to find those guys??? And when you made them go away........." *sighs and looks at the bartender* "Can I get some........Gimmie your specialty, please. Keep the change" *Hands the bartender the money*

"Because I was given powers for a reason I believe and I'll be damned if I'm gonna sit here and let innocents being taken into a war that they want no part of. If anyone should be you! What the hell are you gonna do when they come back tomorrow? If we had had gotten rid of them they would have had more time" Said Staun gritting his teeth. "You've could have done something yet you did nothing! Having the power to make a difference but not using it is the worst thing a person can do! How dare you call yourself a man" said Staun shaking with anger.

*is done eating and walks over and agrees with Staun* "He is right. If you have a gift, you should use it. How you use it is up to you. If you use it to defend the helpless, congratulations, you are someone who should be respected. If you use you gift for personal gain, shame on you. At least the Steel Guard make a difference.....they are more worthy of my respect than you......"

Keisuki, still faint from the transformation, struggled to get up, then collapsed into the nearest chair. After producing a flask from no-where and taking several gulps, she glares at Staun and his new friend.
"If you hadn't attacked them, they wouldn't of fought. You can't just start a fight in a small area like this, when there are innocents about!! And they wont be back tomorrow, or the next day. They wont be back for a while because they damn well know who that was on the table and they are scared of her, even if your not. Any village with the protection of a spirit like that is left well alone from the Guards, at least for a month. I don't even need to transform half the time to get rid of them, because there aren't usually idiots like you hanging around gasping for a fight like it was water to a man lost in the desert. You wanna fight? Go into the woods, plenty of monsters in there I'm sure willing to tear a piece or two off ya," She looked to Luriyu and smiled slightly
"And thanks for looking after me just then. Its appreciated," she scowled again and took more swigs of her mystery liquid.

"If I was looking for just any fight, I would have stayed in the woods. I was raised on the meat of the monsters. Master always said, 'When you kill a beast, do it because you need foor. The beasts' meat will help you grow stronger than any normal man in any village.' That was before the Steel Guard raided my village in the Water Nation. Now, I want revenge!!! I'm the only one left to avenge my people! Ironically enough, those two Steel Guard were the ones who killed Master. Besides, they would have fought me anyways, so I tried to catch them off guard." *Shuts up after remembering he wasnt supposed to tell anyone that he was the lone suvivior of his village in the Water Nation or that he was from the Water Nation. Then he pulled out some documents that said he was from the Earth Nation* "I'm not from the Water Nation....anymore....No one is supposed to know that I exist..........."

Gouki made his way into the forest, but at the back of his mind he wondered about the others. Something was up and he hated being in the dark, but no matter something told him that if they wanted to find him the would show up on his doorstep.

Meanwhile he had stopped at the doorway of his old family home. Heading in he looked about, "Wow she even cleaned it...."

Behind him he heard her voice and turning around he find her in the doorway out of armor. Instead she was dressed like him only in purple, her favorite color... Running she leaps into his arms, "Welcome home brother! I hate not being able to properly welcome you back in town, but I can't jeapordize my position in the Steel Guard."

Gouki nods, "I understand Suka... What about the village? Will they be back?"

"No brother... That strange female scared them off for the moment. No one will disrupt our training here.....EITHER!!!"

With that Suka pushes away from Gouki and comes back at him with a viscious elbow. Smiling he waits til the last moment before blocking sending a wave of energy just strong enough to be registered back in the village. Suka laughs, "I always love going up against you Gouki! It always brings out the best in me...."

"No innocents get hurt from under my watch! And I can't believe you just messed up the chance to take out three members of the steel guard!" Said Staun with a scowl. "Sure you kept the people in this bar from getting drafted.... but what about other people in other places? And what happens when your little trick isn't enough to stop them? They didn't get this far by not being able to stop little cretins like you did they? Once they figure out whats really happening here there is no trick in the world that will be able to save these people then.

"He is right ya know. Take your chances to take out your opponents as fast as you can, when you can. By the way, my name is Tucker....." *Starts looking through his sac*

Kei looked at Staun and her face turned a nice shade of beetroot
"CRETIN!!!" she stood up with such force both the table and chair went flying. She marched right up to Staun, inches from his face. She pulled down one of her red sleeves to her elbow and shoved it in his face, so the long red angry scar, stretching from her wrist to her elbow was fully visible.
"THIS was from a fight with the Steel Guards three weeks ago, where I nearly cut off one of their hands. And THIS," she pulled one of her boots down to show a burn mark that nearly covered her entire lower thigh,"Is from where I nearly got fried by one of their stupid fire balls, cept I managed to hold them off then as well!! I am no mere LITTLE GIRL CRETIN, I have been guarding this village for nigh on 40 years, and you cannot come here and tell me I am a cretin and I cant defend this place. The last person to get drafted here was my brother, 42 years ago and do you know where he is? DEAD!! So I have every right to be angry at the Steel Guards, but I do not go around waving my sword, if I had one, like I want to chop off every head in view!!" she took a deep breath and opened her eyes and glared at Staun and Tucker again, pulling her boot back up and her sleeve back down
"If you dont have anything else useful to say, I am leaving," she looked at Luriyu, "I invite you to stay at my home tonight if you wish sir, but stay here a moment, I am just off to visit a, ahem, friend," and with that she left the Inn and headed towards the forest and Gouki's house.

Luriyu nodded at kei then shook his head and sighed they were right. but he had many fears of war "many youth's will mature much to quickly if one chooses to fight...the horrors will haunt their dreams, of friends and family slaughtered...of not even knowing if you would die to the next person you meet" Luriyu spoke grimly as his face started to drain of color suddenly taken in by his memories. he snapped out of it and his cheery demeanor returned

"having power and not using it at right moment is just as bad...i was once taught to choose your battles wisely...fighting three steel guard in a full tavern isn't the best idea" he said somewhat jokingly but it still had alot of wisdom within the words. the inn had fully emptied with Kei leaving, and he could let down his guard a bit more.

"Fire, Earth, Wind, Water, Ice, Air...the six nations...the lords were all murdered they say...the only survivor was a son of the mage guard who protected the emperor of the fire nation...he said there were monsters in black, who were unaffected by magic...but no one believed the boy and they all believed the six had attacked each other out of spite" he asked for a glass of water which he received "your thoughts?"

Kei felt the wave of Gouki's block as she entered the forest and sighed. People were going to start asking questions if he kept that up. And she would have to come in here again and pretent to 'kill a great beast'. He needed to be more careful. She shrugged to herself and carried on walking soon she could hear signs of a battle, or at least training. She walked out into the open and scowled at Suka and Gouki.

In the small clearing Suka and Gouki's movements were barely visable as they stay engaged in their dance. Each throwing blocks and intricate counters that are done with natural smoothness and grace. Finally Suka manages to latch onto his arm and twisting it around behind him she forces him to his knees using a foot to add pressure, "HA! I got you now! Tap! TAP!!!"

Glancing up Gouki catches sight if Kei and decides to end this now. Wretching his own body a sickning pop is heard as his shoulder comes out of the joint. Suka horrified starts to back up already starting to spout an apollogy, but before sorry slips past her lips Gouki turns throwing his shoulder into her sending her back. Following up his uses a plain open palm strike with his good arm to send her rolling.

Suka looks up at her brother before smiling, "Nice trick...."

Gouki then turns back to Kei and motions towards the house, "Come on in...."

"One thing my travels have showed me is this world has endless possibilities, so while it may be a bit hard to believe, I can't say I completely reject the idea of it" said Staun leaning against a wall. "

"Knowing when to fight is something thats very hard... but I would never ever let another innocent get hurt" Said Staun rubbing his back as he said it. "The thing is... that girl can't protect this village forever... I have a feeling that the only reason why she has gotten this far has to do with how secluded this place is... what I also know from them is that they don't tolerate failure for long and is not above using extreme force.. What do you think we should do?
