I LOVE this movie! Any opinions?

I thought it was good. I know most people hate the movies made from games thing but I really liked both of the Final Fantasy movies I saw

Much better than Spirits Within if you ask me. The action was absolutely breathtaking. The only bad thing, and it makes me angry to end in, is that most of the other main characters just have cameo appearances. I mean c'mon, with the air time they got, they might as well not have been in it at all.

I liked the Spirits within alot, I didn't have any problems with either movie

I didn't like Spirits within. It was too sad and I'm pretty sure it wasn't a Japanese movie. I mean, all the main characters died except for Aki!
While I have never played FFVII, I think it's cool that they even got all the main characters into the movie. And did you see the bonus stuff? They were kinda in that too. My favorite line was when Vincent said "And tell Yuffie not to call me on my phone. She has no right to call it." Or something to that effect.
btw, did anyone find Yuffie super cute?

I agree, Spirits within was, not even comparable to advert children. Even if I had a not played FF7 religiously over and over again, which I did, I probably would have seen it as a great movie anyway.

I can understand some non FF7 players might have found the movie hard to swallow.

Playing the game makes it all the more better. It was amazing seeing the characters in all of their 3D glory. Almost makes me wanna see a FFVII-2 for the PS3 O.O

I'm not sure if I saw the bonus material or not? I saw the 'anime episode' they threw in there, the name is eluding me at the moment, but that was it.

Yea they added some extras but I can't remember them all at the time.

I didn't like the Spirit's Within, either. I just saw it for a good price at a sotre one day so I bought it. I started watching it one night, but I didn't even finsih it, and still haven't... the animation was good, but it was kinda boring. =\

Advent Children was good, I liked it a lot. I actually wathc it in Japanese more than English. English was good, I liked the voices, but it just gets on my nerves how the lips and words don't match, lol. I like Jap. way better :3
and Slash is right, how the other chars. didn't get to be in the movie much. =\ And the end was kinda 'cheesy' IMO. How theyre all just standing there... I dunno. It just bugged me ^^; lol.
All in all, I loce this movie. My cousin is actually still borrowing it. She's had it for a month and hasn't watched it yet XD lol. Her dad would like it, though. He's into that kind of stuff, sorta.

I totally agree with the dubbing! It sucks so bad I haven't even watched more than 10 minutes in english. It really bothers me.
I did like the animation for spirits within but, like you said, it was drawn out. I got it for Christmas and I thought "might as well watch it."

I loved how the added quite a few limit breaks as well. I caught myself yelling 'em out as they happened (yeah, how nerdy of me). I think Cloud and Tifa both had 3 that were in the movie.

The end of the movie, Cloud finishes Sephiroth with Cross-Slash. Earlier, he also finishes Bahaumut with Climhazzard

While in the forest, you see Cloud use Blade-Beam.

Tifa uses 2 of her limits in one fight, using Somersault and meteodrive .

Oh ok. I noticed some of their moves seemed extra strong but I've never played the game so I didn't know exactly how strong they were to begin with.

But yeah, their limits are supposed to be 'finishers' of sorts.
