Orhime and Chad got there powers from Ichigo, because he couldn't control his spirit energy it effected them and they gained abilities.
Chad got his power from Ichigo's hollow (Chad's power is a hollow power) and he became stronger when they went to hueco mundo
Orihime got a little bit of both some shinigami and some hollow power mixed together (she has vaizard abilities)

Ok everyone i'm leaving for vacation on thursday and won't be back till sunday so aoi and BHJ you guys are in charge when i'm gone. how does orihime's powers look vaizardish?

Well, don't forget that she did associate well with that one vaizard, the other vaizard were saying their powers were similar. But I still can't belive that Orihime got such amazing powers just from a "little" stray spirit energy.

The vaizard definitely need bigger roles! And I do agree that they will start fighting hardcore once Aizen invades. Especially that chick with the short green hair. I think she's the most powerful one because she could hold her mask on for 15 hours with no training!
