Katrina noticed a sizable group fall to the ground from the flock and she wondered what had caused it. Zooming through the feathers and bodies, she rose above the flock and looked about. They were high above Sector 2 and she could see people moving down below like tiny ants. A few were gathered round the bodies of birds she had killed and birds that had dropped from the sky. The flock suddenly realized the threat was ahead and rose towards Katrina. She pulled a face at them and flew off, past her ship and soared through the sky, a stream of Death Crows following behind her
"Come and catch me birdies!!"

Yukina looked at her and smiled." heh heh ......",she said sitting down and looking around the city. "so....what is the acadamy like?"

Lashun's stomach growled and she groaned. "Lunch..." She sighed. She looked at him. "But you've had one hec of a trip here, huh?" She smiled cutely. "I'd love to see the pictures."

"let's go eat first...how about that cafe over there, my treat" Luriyu smiled as he pointed to a corner cafe down the street. "i can show you some pictures there while we eat" he led them to the cafe. it was half filled. Luriyu left his bag on his chair and he turned to Lashun after glancing at the list of food. "...all these seem exotic...what's a lublub berry...exactly?..." i think i'm just gonna go with the thing that looks like some rice...how about you?"

Lashun was looking at the menu sideways. She had run into a name that was unusual to her. "Uh......" She then turned it right side up. "I'll take the thing that looks like lobster..hm....'eat at own risk' ... I guess it's spicy." She set the menu down on the table.

"k...that and a bowl of what ever this is...i'll have water to be on the safe side" he smiled and as the waitress came by he sat down. the waitress walked up to them, she was wearing a maid costume with a long skirt.
"so what will you two academy students be having?"
"um...can i have number 13 and a bottle of water?"
"sure...and you miss?"

the waitress smiled and walked to the back to deliver their orders. Luriyu had pulled out his camera and turned it on. he scrolled over to the preview sections and gave the camera to Lashun. "The picture with that girl was a person from Rift, she agreed to take the photo...i also like the shot of that bunny thing... and there were these awesome spirit things on those mushrooms...the last one was when i left home" he laughed " they woke me up pretty early to leave, so i kinda lok angry...but, i'm suprised the sun came out that early"

Lashun giggled at the last picture. "I'm not a morning person either." She gave the camera back once she finished looking at the pictures. "You took some great shots of the scenry!"

"thanks" he blushed a bit l before composing himself "my dad's a painter...and asked me to get scenery for a painting...something to inspire him i guess...oh that picture with the city...that's a picture i took while on my way to the portal, that's my sister in the picture...i think she's enjoying herself checking out the clothes here...so what did you come to rift for?" Luriyu smiled. he though of trying to get to know his traveling partner better would ease the awkwardness between the two strangers who were forced to get along.
"so...after we eat...you still want to go shopping?"
